Ronda’s most striking feature is the Puente Nuevo, which spans a gorge over 300 feet deep. Can you guess when the "new bridge" was built? 1793. That should give visitors an idea of how unchanged Ronda has been over the years. It’s also known as the birthplace of modern bullfighting. The town’s bullfighting ring is only used once a year, at the Feria Goyesca, but it’s also a museum where you can learn about the history of this traditional (yet controversial) sport.

Great apartment in best location in Ronda
Reviewed By LucyBeautyThe apartment looks straight out over the Plaza Duquesa and is a short walk away from the new bridge and many bars and restaurants of Ronda. It was large and had a separate lounge with kitchen area, a bedroom and bright bathroom. The aircon worked really well and this was really necessary at the time of our visit. The host Gracia could not do enough to help you have a pleasant stay. She had left water in the fridge and tea coffee and milk to make drinks. She had also placed a large bunch of fresh flowers in the room. She gave useful hints and tips on where to visit to make the most of our stay.

never even got to see the property
Reviewed By hephlymI generally always have great experiences when I travel. Unfortunately, the experience I had with this business was the worse ever. We had been traveling in Morocco prior to taking a ferry to Spain. Our ferry was cancelled and we took the next one. We contacted the property to let them know we would come in after their check-in hours due to the delay. The gentlemen we spoke too just said "well i'm not working late for you" after we suggested a couple of options, such leaving the keys somewhere safe for us to pick up (after explaining that the ferry situation was beyond our control), he simply insisted he was not going to do anything to help us and we should just request a refund that he would forward to management. at one point during the phone call he asked me to shut and also screamed at me. we had already paid - so i requested a partial refund which was denied by management. this is until now the worse experience i've had within hospitality/rental which resulted in us not staying in the property and having to find an alternate place.

Rondaluz Apartment 3 is NOT Exceptional
Reviewed By BrophyjwThings must have gone further downhill since 2019. This place could never be exceptional and receive 5 stars unless the owner wrote the review. The rooms all had mould on the walls as had the towels. We had to buy new towels. The furniture is worn out. There is no front desk. The equipment is minimal. The WiFi signal is weak. Every expense and attempt at making this place attractive have been avoided. There is no key so it is insecure. There are no instructions in case of fire or emergency. There were just 3 clothes hangers in the bedroom on the unit that was falling over. We booked 7 nights and left after 2 fearing I'll health and despondency. Yes it's near the station and there is a car parking space in the bowels of the earth, all the better for a quick escape to somewhere else. I have stayed in many hotels and apartments but rarely one as poor and overrated as this. Pictures below show some of the above. We have asked for and so far have been refused a refund.

Convenient, quiet and helpful
Reviewed By Bob345367We booked on line a coupe of days ahead. Xavier was incredibly helpful and friendly, and found somewhere for our bicycled. Flat was clean and he washing machine was useful after a week on the road. Bang in the centre of the old area, 5 minutes from the bridge, bit in a quiet nearly traffic free street. I don't know what you would do if you arrived by car. There is no reception. Call the number above the door when you arrive.

Reviewed By Rosarosae Rmuy buena comunicación con el propietario, muy amable nos dio planos y consejos para realizar visitas asi como para tomar algo en Ronda. La ubicación es muy buena para ir andando a todas partes. Tuvimos mucha suerte y aparcamos en la puerta. La cocina esta perfectamente equipada con menaje, asi como el baño que tiene hasta un mini botiquín. El armario de la habitación estupendo, ideal para una estancia larga. Lo más pequeño el salón pero tampoco estuvimos mucho tiempo en casa. Totalmente recomendable. Nosotro repetiremos si volvemos a Ronda.

Reviewed By MChannelsApartamento reformado y con todo lo necesario para pasar unos días, ademas la cama es la mas comoda que he probado en muchos viajes. Cerca de todo, esta a diez minutos del tren y a cinco del puente nuevo. No le doy la puntuacion maxima porque cuando llegamos hacia un poco de frio (los radiadores algo escasos, el apartamento tardo varios dias en entrar en calor bien), y porque a las horas de las comidas suben olores del bar de debajo. Volvería sin dudarlo, aunque antes preguntaría si han arreglado los extractores!

Attention de bien noter cependant qu’elle est partagée avec le 2ème appartement. Literie à revoir, nous avons mal dormi.

Reviewed By danielcopattiFue imposible calefaccionar el apartamento en invierno, incluso dejando prendido el equipo de aire acondicionado a full. Hay dos estufas eléctricas, pero si se prendía todo saltaba la llave térmica. Aunque el apartamento estaba limpio se sentía olor a caño que se intensificó al segundo día. Además desde poco después de las 8 de la mañana comenzaba un ruido infernal por estar en obras el apartamento contiguo. Sólo la vista cumplió con lo que ofrecía...

Disappointed
Reviewed By klaresacheWhen we arrived at the Tajo Apartment we were very disappointed. It was small, and dark. It had not one window to the outside - just a couple to a lightwell, and neither a table or a desk. Kitchen was lacking a number of essential kitchen items. Of all the place we have stayed in Andalusia this is the only place we would not stay again. On the plus side staff was friendly and the place was very clean. Perhaps the hotel rooms are better.
