Sotto le Cummerse Albergo Diffuso, set up in 2002, with its skilfully and elegantly refurbished flats, spread across the very heart of the historical district of Locorotondo, the circle-shaped sentry overlooking Valle d'Itria. The hotel was conceived by Angelo Sisto and his wife Teresa Salerno, who have always been particularly fond of their little native town, fascinated by the traditional colours, smells and flavours that still mark the historical district of Locorotondo. Sotto Le Cummerse, in Locorotondo. All the Apulian beauty is around you!
Property is not really a hotel rooms but a group of apartments in buildings in the town Locorotondo. We arrived at the “hotel” office and were escorted to our accommodations about 700 meters away. Our “rooms” were adjoining and we shared a small kitchen area. Our room had a step set off stairs which were difficult to navigate with our luggage. The bathroom was really nice with a large shower. Our bed was older with a too soft mattress. Breakfast was in a short walk away and was decent. Locorotondo is a cute town and walking around town I really did not see any other hotels or places to stay. Le Cummerse might just be it. Locorotondo is a pretty town.

Le Dieci Porte is a wonderful group of trulli (a very typical accommodation in Puglia) set against the peaceful backdrop of Alberobello’s country side. You wake up with the sound of cows and roosters and fall asleep with the sound of owls. The trullo we were in was number 5, made up of two floors, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a very spacious, interconnected furnished kitchen, dining area and living room. It’s pretty much a whole apartment, meticulously decorated! The breakfast is made by the owners, Stella and Christophe, a wonderful, laid-back duo. It is the perfect breakfast with the perfect quality, quantity and balance. You begin with local and fresh delicacies, first salty then sweet, leaving you satiated to just the right amount. In addition, the compound has a sheltered parking, beautifully decorated seating areas with a garden that is full of butterflies 24/7, a soon-to-be-completed pool and a drying area for your clothes and towels. Not only is Le Dieci Porte in a very strategic location where everything is easily accessible, but Stella and Christophe are also full of wonderful suggestions for whatever you may desire, whether that be restaurants, excursions or beaches and bays. They are the sweetest, most available hosts. So is their daughter! They all speak various languages, namely English, French & Italian. A beautiful, generous family that makes you feel at home and an all-round superbly, stunning stay. (A big shout out to Lino as well, Stella’s father, who was working on the pool day-in, day-out under the scorching sun throughout our entire stay.) With love, The Baruzzi Family

Nice apartment, clean rooms and bathroom, kind owner, private parking, near the railway, but quiet during the night. Close to the trulli area and historic centre. We were two couples and access to the bathroom was thru the bedroom, so it was a bit inconvenient while the other couple was still sleeping.

nestled in the heart of the Alto Salento, Spadalunga is a secular building reinvented as "hospitable place" consists of a set of types rural Puglia, which comprise apartments with 2, 3 or 4 beds, kitchen and bathroom. All outside there is a swimming pool with an explosion of nature dominated by olive trees.
We stayed in this lovely private residence for 10 day, its very easy to sit by the pool and relax in the sun. It is also a very good location from which to explore Pulia, its not far to Ostuni a very pretty walled city with lots of history and plenty of places to eat. The coast is not far with nice resorts and marina's to visit and of course Alberobello with its amazing Trulli's.

In the middle of the town the VILLAGGIO IN is pleased ti receive the curious tourist who will be surprised by its pleasant and unusual dwellings, scattered among the towns's narrow streets and alleys. From the bed-sitting apartment to the one for six people, each house is self-contained indipendent heating, bathroom, kitchenette with utensils, refrigerator, television set.
I can't complain about the cleanliness. The Italians take pride in being clean. The place we stayed in was a little weird. We'd climb a set of steep stairs to find our bedroom with an overly soft mattress. My back paid the price the next morning. Walking up another flight of steep stairs would take us to the bathroom which again, was clean but nothing to write home about. A little kitchenette, which we didn't use, ran off of the bedroom. The place served the purpose but we feel we could have done better. The annoying part was that the manager of the units was not available for nearly an hour after his door sign indicated he'd be back in. Breakfast was included by way of a voucher which you'd take to a little cafe in the commercial area (5 minute walk). Great croissants there.
