This is hotel is well situated, very close to the Arena as well as the railway station. I was fortunate to be assigned a huge, high ceilinged room with an expansive balcony. Every member of the staff I interacted with was professional, friendly, and helpful, The breakfast room is a bit small but there is a good selection of breakfast items. I can only think of positive things to say about this hotel and highly recommend it for a stay in the beautiful city of Nimes.

The bathroom was disgusting, the contents of the sink would appear up the plughole. Rancid smell. If you pay them another 7€ they will do some extra cleaning when you arrive. Hmm The kitchen area and the crockery and cutlery were also pretty grubby.

Couple of days away with the wife, daughter and granddaughter. Perfect weather, the residence filled our expectations. Bit late in the year for the swimming pool. It was a short walk to the harbour but a 4km wall to the town center

Staff very helpful..even ringing car hire place after our car was broken into.Even though room was a bit tired the kitchenette, laundry alcove and fresh breakfast made this a positive stay.Within walking distance to train station, onsite parking and in walking distance of main attractions.Plus the supermarket very close to get food means I would stay here again.

The hotel / residence looks modern from the outside. Inside it is not very well maintained. Despite all service personnel was very friendly and helpful the rooms and other places were not very clean and partially ugly. Look at our pictures which document the “cleanliness”. Price for breakfast was a rip off for what you get: nothing fresh and even the amount of croissants was limited! We definitely would not return! Is this a helpful review? Appart’City Nîmes is located at the heart of this sunny city served by TGV high speed train, in a prime location near the Georges Besse, Carré Sud and Ville Active business parks
Just yesterday Sept 17th took a trip from Avignon where my partner and I are renting an apartment, to visit the city of Nimes. What a surprise, we really loved this ancient town. Firstly the train took us right to the bottom of the main St itself with the statue of Charles De Gaul to greet us. We loved how clean it is, unlike Avignon. Loved the downtown streets and its shops and if course the amazing ancient building right there in front of us as we had wine and lunch just beside the Amphitheatre. There is really not a lot you cannot see in Avignon in two days, so yes we have taken opportunity to to visit a number of towns, especially the Market Towns, all within a half hour train ride from our base. We were also impressed with the presence of the local police force which is near non existence in Avignon and the friendlines of the people waiting staff and just customers the local people and tourists in general. So yes fellow readers go there, worth the short trip from Avignon

Had been recommended this restaurant by friends and the first impression was excellent. Shown to our table very smartly and promptly waited 15 mins to order an aperitif. We ordered shortly after that and by the time our starter came we had been in the restaurant for 1hour. The food was excellent, however the waiter had to apologise a few times saying that one of the chefs was very poorly - I'm afraid this was not my problem and did not wish to hear excuses for poor service. The meal was also ruined by between 8 - 10 children who were simply screaming and running around the garden while their parents sat and ate their dinner - having paid over 100 euros for the meal i did not appreciate it being ruined by other people's children. All in all a poor experience and I wish we had stayed at our holiday gite, opened an expensive bottle of red wine and demolished a plate of cheese! If you do go and you have children please be considerate of other diners!

This place had a really boring vibe, there was nothing going on. It felt like you where in a retirement home felt really depressing. The pool area was nice and clean but they literally had like 12-15 beds due to COVID. We have been traveling around South of France for 2 weeks and this was the first place who had this rule for the beds. The rooms where clean when we arrived but there was there are no built roads so all the roads are dirt roads and your room just ends up with endless sand you just cannot clean as there is sand and dirt everywhere as you step out your room. The staff where friendly, but to be honest if you are looking for something with a good vibe and good entertainment avoid this place. If you prefer a place where it is super quiet and nothing going on then this is the place to go. Also you can tell the place has not been renovated in a long time everything just looks super ancient. The only thing that looked new was the kitchen area in the room that was about it. Everything else looks like it has been the same for the past 20 years.

We stayed two nights in this self contained villa, it was well equipped and very convenient for the town. Noisy wooden stairs let the place down but it was excellent value for money. We didn’t use the pool or laundry but both were convenient and looked well maintained. Parking easy and secure. The bakery nearby was excellent and the town of Aigues Mort is lovely, the market on Wednesday morning was superb too. There are some good places to eat in town. This is a lovely region to explore and Aigues Morte is an ideal base.
