U.S. citizens still need to jump through a few hoops to visit Cuba, but as visitors from around the world know, the island offers fascinating opportunities for cultural exchange... and some simply amazing beaches. Havana is a balance of old-world architecture and contemporary nightlife. The UNESCO World Heritage town of Trinidad is a vision of Spanish colonial architecture and makes a great base for a visit to the hauntingly beautiful Valley of the Sugar Mills.

Our Boutique Hotel, where tradition and modernity go hand in hand, prides itself of a highly qualified staff, attentive to all your needs inside and outside the hotel, to make your stay in Havana be as wonderful as you deserve.
My room was spacious, very clean, the staff are very generous. Adrian (sp?) is very engaging. It felt like coming home every day. Wifi wasn't super reliable/strong, but that's to be expected. I would stay again.

We have stayed at several casas partuculares and this was no exception: very welcoming, immaculately clean, a good sized room, private bathroom with a decent shower and hot water. Breakfast was delicious and huge: fruit, pastries, toast, eggs, fruit juice and endless tea and very strong coffee. We particularly appreciated how attentive the owners and staff were as sadly they had a bereavement while we were there.

This is not a family house, but a substantial business. You deal with different staff every day. We booked a room based on reviews and photos, but when we arrived we were told that we'll have to stay in a different building just down the street. It turned out to be a very small room, no windows, only the terrible fluorescent lighting. Claustrophobic and not welcoming at all. The amenities were good, bathroom, safe, fridge etc. Then the staff sold us internet cards for DOUBLE PRICE. We moved to a different Peregrino hostal and again got a room with NO WINDOWS. On the good side - the staff is very nice, but it's not the same experience as staying with a real family.

Our small family guarantees you a sure and pleasant stay in our house, offering a service according your expectation and giving to you our home-feeling. We became our guess in friends. We rent 6 comfortable and spacious rooms with independent bathroom, cold and hot water, air conditioner, refrigerator, TV, fan, excellent illumination and ventilation. Independent entrance in 4 rooms. The house has a large and nice garden that is suited for reading or rest in peace in contact with nature and fresh air or even some butterfly and hummingbird; it has also a small pool. Other facilities: Varied gastronomic services are offered with excellent quality, prices and a singular homelike season; we can also negotiate taxis, dance classes and massages. If you have confirmed reservation we can pick you up to the bus station or airport. With the family you can communicate easily in English, Spanish or French. You will not regret your good choice! One of the best casa I’ve been in Cuba for 1year. I wasn’t disturb by noises (unlike other reviewers said, so it depends of the room I think). You pay the neighbors to take care of the car (that’s normal in Cuba). The rooms are good, in an Cuban style for sure. You have hot water in the shower ! Maria is adorable, we haven’t seen her so much, but she was available if we needed to, she just respect the intimacy. The breakfast was good, really complete. The terasse and the garden are incredible, we spend a long time there just enjoying the moment. She has a small swimming pool to refresh too - that can be really helpful with the strongest days we can find in Cuba. Excellent casa in my opinion.

Hostal Habana Vieja 55, where we offer you a comfortable and pleasant stay. It is a Boutique Hotel Gallery located in the historic center of Old Havana, accompanied by attractive spaces and sites of historical, heritage, cultural and tourist.
Stayed here three nights in January 2020...location is perfect if you are wanting to stay in the heart of Old Havana. Staff here were friendly and helpful, most notably Yuli, Talia and Arianna who all speak fluent English and were invaluable to my stay. They were able to help me with my transportation needs and any other requests I had for a very special visit. Room was small but clean. No bathroom door however, so get comfortable quick if you have a travel partner. The art displayed all over this hostel is beautiful and adds to it's charm. We ate only breakfasts here but food was very good and it's a nice inner-city view from the roof-top bar/restaurant. I would advise not changing money here, they gave a whole 10% less than the bank, however the bank took about 90 minutes of waiting...suppose it just depends how valuable your vacation time is to you. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to other travellers without reservation.

Large rooms with private bathroom and air condition. Hot water and refrigerator. Very quiet neighborhood. We can offer good breakfast.
Casa Amparo is a wonderful place to stay on your vacation in Havana! The apartment is spacious, impeccably clean and well-maintained. Amparo and her husband treat you like family! Their breakfasts are fresh and filling. The bedrooms and bathrooms are large, comfortable, and are the perfect place to cool down and relax after a day out. It is easy to find transportation nearby, and its a short ride into Havana Vieja, where you will do most of your touring. Amparo and her husband speak Spanish, French and a little English. I HIGHLY recommend this casa particular!

We stayed at Habana Moscu at the beginning and end of our trip to Cuba and it was the best place we stayed in the whole trip. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean with en suite bathrooms which have good, hot showers. All the staff are friendly and welcoming, very helpful in explaining how things work in Cuba, nothing is too much trouble and they speak very good English. There is a lovely roof terrace where you can have a drink and a snack and where breakfast is served. Breakfast is well presented and fresh with generous quantities. There is wi-fi on the terrace which worked fine while we were there, they sell internet cards at the front desk and are happy to show you how to use them. The rooms are up two or three flights of steep, fairly narrow stairs, so would not be suitable for people with limited mobility, but once you are up there, it feels completely safe although you are right in the middle of the old town. The location is ideal for exploring all the sights, the main squares are within easy walking distance and there are lots of restaurants and bars within a few blocks. Highly recommended.
