So-called because of the honey-colored stone used to build its villages, the Cotswolds offers visitors the quintessential English experience. The area spans five counties and boasts some of England’s most impressive country houses, castles, and landscapes. Plus, plentiful pubs make it easy to experience authentic English hospitality.

Bliss Apartments Cheltenham offer a selection of Serviced Apartments throughout central Cheltenham. There are four different buildings with a range of One and Two Bedroom Apartments Available
The owners of this apartment don't believe in renovation. Sitting in the living room you would think you were back in the 1980s with a very old TV that would give you a headache to watch, extremely dated and cheap furniture. Looking around in the kitchen the oven and cooker and other surfaces were dirty with marks on, the kettle would not work unless you kept your finger on the switch until the water was boiled!!!! The bedroom furniture was more modern but the bed was a small double and the bedding so uncomfortable! My neck was hurting all night as the pillows were so hard. Overall a very disappointing stay. On the positive side the location is excellent and so close to the centre.

Not only was it dirty, dated and uncomfortable, we had to share a bathroom with several other lodgers and my 7-year old son had to witness a horrendous domestic incident between two other lodgers. Not suitable for children. The owners still charged me after we had no other choice but to leave following the incident, to find alternative accommodation for the evening. The price for one evening is not justified - shocking!

We were let down having booked a specific apartment many months ago , then told 2 weeks before leaving that they changed our venue. We were changed to a basement apartment that was not what we wanted . I find the casual way people change our plans very irritating. The substitute apartment was just satisfactory

We booked this apartment for a 2 night break so that we could attend a rugby match at Kingsholm Stadium. Unfortunately, we had a very unsatisfactory stay, for a number of reasons. When we arrived the apartment had been double booked, and the alternative was not as we required, having 2 double rooms rather than the double and twin we'd booked. There was someone's dressing gown hanging in one of the rooms (despite deep cleaning?), and the apartment was very cold for several hours after we arrived, as it had presumably not been heated for some time. On both nights we were disturbed throughout the evening and overnight until approximately 5.00 am by tenants of 2 other apartments, who were excessively noisy. There were other issues but these were the most significant. The host was singularly unhelpful when we complained, and eventually offered a grudging apology and said that the 'loud' tenants had been banned from the property - which didn't help us at all. I was very disappointed that we weren't offered any recompense, as our quite expensive weekend had been completely ruined. We won't be staying here again.

Hi, I arrived at Douglas house after booking on Hotels.com. After several attempts at calling the number to check me in to the apartment I got informed the accommodation was fully booked. Eventually they found my booking, but had no apartments left. Then hung up on me leaving me stranded for the night. I'd arrived at 6pm on Saturday this whole process took until 9pm. Absolutely no effort made to correct their mistake, just hung up and ditched me. Thanks for making someone who travelled internationally homeless for a night.

Where to start .... Firstly the bed was broken. The apartment was dusty & dirty, with cobwebs and bed insects! The beds looked like someone else had slept in them as there was hair in it!! Yuck!!!! There was mud all over the floor. The bathroom was dirty, hair in the shower. Thermostat incorrectly installed. The towels stained. Bed linen and towels smelt. Luckily we bought our own towel and blankets as my little one likes their own bedding. Kitchen dirty, floor unswept and dirty. Didn't use kitchen facilities only to make toast as everything including plates and utensils were dirty and had to be washed before use!! The cooker looked like it hasn't had a clean in some time. The 3 mugs given chipped. One mug as soon as filled with liquid you lifted the mug and the handle snapped off. Luckily no one was close and I only scalded myself and not my child!!! In all very very disappointed stay. Please give these apartments a wide berth. If it wasn't so late when we arrived and exhaustion paid a factor, we would have gone to the local travel lodge!!! In all the 1 rating is still too generous.
