The traditional and charming 'Almstüberl' restaurant offers regional specialities such as Rippalan (spare ribs) or Kasnudln (cheese pasta) in the summer, as well as a farmers’ market once a week. Long drive / good resort!
Reviewed By JohnBanks66712We had a very nice skiing holiday, although the resort is a long drive especially during holiday season. The pistes are perfect for advanced skiers. If you are looking for a super challenge or have just started, not sure this is the best ski area. Happy to recommend!

Food is basic 2-3 choice but ok. Especially if i pay 220€ for 6 nite p peroson. Really good ! Rooms are renovated and bath compleatly new! You can take pats with you up ok request !

Reviewed By Vikram30Wir haben 2 Wochen hier gewohnt, um uns den Wörther See und Umgebung anzuschauen. Die Ferienwohnung ist schön eingerichtet, hat eine große Terasse mit einen tollen Ausblick und dazu gehört ein großes Grundstück, auf dem unser Hund toll toben konnte. Abstriche gab es bei den Matratzen, die wir als sehr durchgelegen empfunden haben und bei der laut Werbung vollausgestatteten Küche (eine Pfanne, die völlig hinüber war, keinen Pfannenwender, so dass die Vorgänger das Salatbesteck genutzt haben müssen, so verformt wie das Plastik vorne war, keine Kaffeemaschine - stattdessen eine Espressomaschine für die Herdplatte-, keinen Toaster, oder großen Backofen, stattdessen einen recht kleinen Tischbackofen). An manchen Tagen war es recht frisch. Die Heizung wurde immerhin auf Rückfrage angeschmissen. Teilweise war es morgens aufgrund eines Baggers recht laut, weil die ehemaligen Tennisplätze unterhalb der Ferienwohnung brach liegen und zum Teil als Stellplatz für Metallzäune, Schilder und den Bagger dienen.

Astrid is always prepared with tips for the goals of Carinthia.The apartment we stayed in is perfect, with all the necessary facilities. It is thought to the smallest details, not to miss anything. The terrace, which surrounds the apartment, offers you a dreamy view.The warmth with which you are surrounded by the hosts made our stay seem short. We have been coming to this location for 4 years that we have actually fallen in love with.The card included in the accommodation offer offers you a lot of freebies throughout the land.I recommend this gorgeous pension where I will return with great pleasure to the year.

A small holiday village - in the nature park Weissensee. 3 houses are available. Healthy living in a wooden house, sustainable in the main house - the original farmhouse of the family or completely luxurious in the house under the earth with 100% lake view. Private beach just 5 minutes walk away. Wellness area, fish pond, natural garden and much more.
Pleasant stay near lake
Reviewed By janip69We have stayed in apartment within the main building. It is quite large and offers enough space for the family with parents and 2 grown up children. In the same building is sauna with large relaxation area and water massage machine. The house is located near tha lake, next to the house is a road antd the sidewalk which leads to the center. There is also a large free of charge parking place in front of the house.

Our house is located next to the forrest just a quick walk away from a place to take a swim. The beacharea Faaker See is just a few minutes drive away from our house. As guest of our house you have free entrance to the beach area. We do have different apartments in our house for 2 up to 6 persons, but we also have double, single and bunkbed rooms. Breakfast is included in the price of our rooms.
Beautiful location, very friendly hosts

We were there in the middle of the winter season so the kitchen was not available (except for breakfast, which was great), but there was a place to eat 5minute walk. The hosts were very friendly and helped us out with all we possibly needed, from driving us from/to the train station (we had no car), explaining us all about hiking in the area, up to giving us some candles that we wanted. I can only recommend it! really lovely place and amazing area..!

Perfect relaxing family destination
Reviewed By Jessica HWe holidayed in these apartments with our 3 year old and 6 year old and cannot recommend it highly enough. Our apartment had the most magnificent view of the turquoise lake and was clean and very well equipped with plenty of space for the four of us and even a little balcony. The apartments themselves thought of everything from providing dishwasher tablets and letting you do your washing to a wine fridge in the communal area with local wines and an honesty box to pay and a magnificent breakfast basket you can order with local produce if you run out of time to get to the shops. Although it was off season we swam in the lake everyday (at our son’s insistence) and we found lots of family friendly walks, climbing and more to do as well as some lovely family friendly pubs and restaurants. I highly recommend a stay here, we couldn’t fault the friendly owners and immaculate accommodation and will definitely be back!

Family holiday
Reviewed By AudreykaMy family of 3 has spent six nights in a 2-bedroom apartment. Eventually we did not need the second bedroom as our little one slept in a cot in the living room. The cot was provided by hotel and we also received a feeding chair and a changing mat. The apartment is in need of some refurbishment, especially the bathroom where mold has started to grow. In the kitchen we missed some items that we normally would find in other apartments: oil for cooking, dish washing liquid and salt. The toilet seat was slightly broken. We were saddened about the fact that the playground was in a neglected state, some toys were even dangerous. What we loved about the apartment: the balcony with the astonishing view, the insulation of doors and windows - we could barely hear our neighbors - and the quiet location in the countryside. There was a general IT outage during our stay so we only had internet on the first day.
