Good location with a fantastic view
Reviewed By angelatR4779XXThe hotel has fantastic views of the castle and chora. Lovely room, very comfy beds. Shower was powerful enough but shower cubicle a tad small! Beds made and fresh towels every day. I would have given it 5 points but the pool area was tired and needed some attention, not very inviting. There is no reception at the hotel either, so had to hunt down owner so we could pay before we left. Saying that, the owner was very friendly and couldn't help you enough. He took us to the airport for our flight home too, free of charge. I would stay again.

Gerani" is a small family run complex located in Livadi , amidst a beautiful garden and just 30 meters from the magnificent beach of Livadi. We provide a pleasant , friendly and family atmosphere , comfortable rooms with everything you need, and a lovely terrace overlooking the beautiful garden with blooming flowers, making your holidays pleasant and serene. Astypalaia is the island for this year's holidays and Gerani is the perfect place to stay. See you there!

Reviewed By maria fFantastic sleep experience with the very good cocomat beds they have!! A quiet place for relaxing and very very ery clean!!!! The sea is 30 meters away and a super market also very close!!!! Astypalea is a very nice island, not so much crowdy and gerani is a very nice place to meet the island!!!!

Reviewed By Μαρία ΜFrom the first moment we got off the boat, we realised that the Greek hospitality and culture is part of this island! The same applied when we entered the hotel, the staff was very nice and hospitable and gave us all the needed information regarding excursions etc. The studio was nice and tidy, and they cleaned it every day. It had everything we could wish for, even a special basket with a few products to welcome us! All in all, it was a great choice, next to the sea and within walking distance from Chora.

Great place if you wanna sleep with the owner
Reviewed By Christina8896655The pictures of the hotel were very beautiful. I wrote the owner and asked for 2 days in a superior room. He gave me a rate but after I told him I needed a receipt it was more expensive. Short before the arrival the owner told me that he found other people to stay in the superior room and they were prioritized because they would stay longer. I was then in a standard room. The owner picked me up at the airport. My flight was delayed and he said that he was burned by the sun because he was waiting. In the car he said he liked girls like me. He suggested that we should have sex. He liked to go to Thailand in the winter to sleep with prostitutes. I said I had a boyfriend. He said it didn't matter. I was totally creeped out. I was anxious now! He told me to pay and get the receipt later. I said I would pay when I got the receipt. He fixed it in 3 minutes. The rooms were make upped but not properly renovated so you could hear everything from the neighbors rooms, slamming of doors, talk, sex etc. Well the owner realized that I didn't wanna sleep with him so all my luggage I had to figure out how to get to the harbour on my own. It would take him 2minutes with the car. Ladies stay away from this creepy guy unless you're single and desperate for a buff island guy on a scooter.

MOURAS STUDIOS - Seaside en-suite Studios The small and cosy seaside complex consists of 7 independent white washed studios built right before the sea (just 3m from the beach), with a direct and infinite view to the open sea, to Livadi coastline and the nearby islets. Elegance meets traditional architecture, privacy meets comfort, open sea meets natural landscape. This naturalistic blend is also evident in the open garden area, with the organic planting and relaxation points available to all guests.

Reviewed By Rodders1956Liked · What a perfect apartment in a perfect location. The apartment is on the top floor with an enormous private terrace. Lovely seating area with deckchairs and a table with stunning views. So peaceful with just the bells from the goats behind and the lapping of the sea which is a stones throw away. All spotlessly clean, the apartment has a huge bed with beautiful bedding. A balcony and a window with great new doors and mosquito nets. Adequate kitchen with everything you need should you want to cater in. Maria who manages the apartments is such a lovely person and so friendly. Nothing too much trouble from the initial communication to transfers from and to the port. What a find and will be back.

Decent but expensive accommodation
Reviewed By discoverpathsWe stayed for a few days at the "Dolphin Studios". The studio's space was limited. However, it provided the necessary equipment, a kitchenette to prepare something to eat and the basic for a simple breakfast (jam, butter, instant coffee sachets). The positive elements of the property included a convenient balcony and a central location in Pera Gialos; the negative element focuses on costs. The owner was hospitable and gave us the possibility of transfer to and from the port, which was important as the port is located in a difficult area (especially with luggage). Overall, the experience was good, but I would definitely prefer a better value-for-money place because this one was too expensive for its facilities (80 euros per night).

Τα περισσοτερα διαμερισματα ειναι πληρως ανακαινισμενα με επιπλα απο ανοιχτοχρωμο ξυλο και σε γηινες αποχρωσεις.Ειναι ανετα και διαθετουν κλιματισμο,τηλεοραση,μικρη κουζινα και ψυγειο.Τα μπανια διαθετουν προιοντα περιποιησης και στεγνωτηρες μαλλιων καθως και μπαλκονια με θεα στη θαλασσα. Το καταλυμα παρεχει την δυνατοτητα μεταφορας των επισκεπτων απο και προς το Λιμανι του Αγιου Ανδρεα που απεχει 5χλμ. και το Αεροδρομιο που απεχει 9χλμ.Τελος υπαρχει η δυνατοτητα φυλαξης αποσκευων.
Excellent stay in Astypalaia
Reviewed By ChristineB_CfOur apartment exceeded expectation. It was spacious, very well appointed, both stylish and practical. The air conditioning was silent and worked well. Breakfast choice was very good and delivered to our door at our chosen time so we could eat on the balcony. The small supermarket below stocks everything you might need and was quiet. The apartments are well located by the harbour with parking and a five minute walk to the town beach. There are restaurants/bakeries nearby, and plenty more in the chora by the windmills. To reach the chora, there are many steps or you can walk up the road, which is steep in places. A bus service is available. The owner and family were extremely helpful and friendly. The airport pick-up/ferry drop off worked well.

Unprofessional behaviour
Reviewed By AstypalaiadreamLocation good. Host friendly at first. Nice view. Room spacious and service good. Lack of shelves and hooks to hang face towels and kitchen towels. We found some very dirty dishes in cupboard and showed them to hostess. There was no apology whatsoever and in fact said in a very loud voice that we were making a big issue about it. Since that moment she totally ignored us.

The spacious rooms are modern fully furnished and can accommodate 2 to 5 people. They are ideal for families. Facilities/Services: Air conditioning, TV, Internet(free wi-fi),Fully equiped kitchen with utensils,refrigerator, transportation from/to airport or port, hairdryer, electric iron, daily cleaning.

Reviewed By Elina DThe hostess and the rest of the stuff was simply amazing! We felt right at home here! The place was luxurious, modern, renovated and everything was perfect down to every detail. The sleep was fantastic (the mattress and the linear and the pillows were soft, clean and perfect). We were surprised to discovered we had a full private breakfast set in our suite. The location was great only 20 min walk from Chora and 2 min. walk from Livadi beach. Generally we were very pleased and we would definitely come back here again and again!
