A city trapped in time, Havana captures the imagination like no other. Faded glamour meets careful colonial-era reconstruction with a backdrop of irresistible color. Walk El Malecón, the walkway bordering the ocean; visit Old Havana and the Catedral de San Cristóbal; and listen for salsa music, open-air bazaars and parties that last all night.

Lizt Alfonso Dance Cuba is a genuine expression of the mixture which identifies Cuban Culture. The company's performances combine, in an original way, elements of flamenco, ballet and contemporary dance with Spanish and Afro-Cuban rhythms. This particular aspect has enabled specialized critics to describe its work as unique and different. It has its own dance academy with thousands of students.

A Rock'n'Roll evening in the heart of El Vedado. In the yard of the beautiful "Casa de la Amistad". A spot for good music in havana, frequented by cuban rockers of all ages. Come in, have a beer, order some chips, bring your kids, and enjoy a few hours of live cuban rock'n'roll music hosted by "Vieja Escuela" rock band, and with guests every sunday. Classic rock as well as cuban rock songs .
Live rock bands, great value (approx £5/£5 on the door with food) and drink also reasonable, great vibe, highly recommended particularly if you looking for a break from Salsa

This is a spectacular old theatre, built in a grand style! The architecture alone is a must-see in Havana. Ballet performances are amazing. We saw a special performance for the 500th anniversary of Havana by Carlos Acosta's ballet company. It ranked with the best performances we have seen anywhere, including by internationally acclaimed ballet companies!
