You may have all heard that everything is bigger in Texas. Well, Dallas does its best to fulfill that promise. You'll find several museums with vast art collections and fascinating specialty museums like The Sixth Floor Museum/Texas School Book Depository, which, though small in size, offers an immense amount of information about the assassination of John F. Kennedy. And of course, visit a local steakhouse for a terrific (and enormous) meal.

Symphony center in Dallas.
We have season tickets to the Dallas Symphony at the Orchestra Terrace level and it is fabulous. Almost like sitting on stage with the performers. I have also heard Neil Young Solo, Lyle Lovett and John Hiatt together, Lyle Lovett and Robert Earl Keen together, and many others. Whoever plays here it sounds better than anyone else. But don't rattle candy wrappers, burp or fart, everyone can hear it.

Atop the hill at the intersection of Skillman at NW Hwy: Dallas Children’s Theater features professional actors performing for an annual audience of 250,000 young people and their families through mainstage productions (9 in the 2019-2020 season), a national -touring company, and an arts-in-education program. As the only major organization in Dallas focusing solely on youth and family theater, DCT builds bridges of understanding between generations and cultures, instilling an early appreciation of literature, art, and the performing arts in tomorrow’s artists and patrons. "Walking into Geppetto's is like stepping into the past." Geppetto's is a unique marionette theater created for children and families. The lobby is beautifully adorned with handcrafted wooden marionettes and the facility has a puppetry store, concession stand with confection bar, and a gorgeous intimate marionette theater. Classic children's stories are presented weekends throughout

the only theater in the US designed by Frank Lloyd Wright
This is the only Frank Lloyd Wright designed building in the Dallas area and it needs our support. It's off the Katy Trail and convenient to downtown amenities. The theater is small and quaint. I decided to take my daughter to see Little Women and the performance was great. She was mesmerized. We were pleasantly surprised to see this is in our city! I never knew. Check it out!

Beautiful horses, riders, falconry, ambiance and atmosphere. The food was great and filling (2 servings of chicken, potato, soup, garlic bread, drink and desert). gift shop was amazing, with horse and rider toys to purchase that matched the various players, along with many other cool items. Full cash bar, easy parking, and excellent customer service throughout. Wonderful place for kids and adults alike.
