Welcome to a capital city whose story goes back at least 3000 years. In Beijing, you'll find a wealth of history, both ancient (the Hall of Preserving Harmony, Summer Palace, Forbidden City) and more recent (Chairman Mao Memorial Hall, Tiananmen Square). For the best market experience, choose the Dirt Market over the touristy Silk Market. A visit to the Great Wall, the longest manmade structure in the world, is absolutely essential.

Highly recommended for art/music performance lover, both theatre and music hall were fantastic, and the exterior look is great for photo too. Also, recommend to leave some time in the theatre shop as they have some fine souvenirs to take home.

Acrobats & gymnasts from throughout China perform at this theatre – breathtaking routines of flexibility involving chairs, bikes, jumping hoops, spinning plates & human strength. 2 performances daily.
The show had one great act after another of acrobatic feats performed by a large cast of talented men and women. The staging and lighting was colorful and delightful. Our VIP seats could not have been better right in the center five rows from the stage.

The legend of Kung Fu Show is produced by China’s leading performance company and the best of China’s Kung Fu practitioners have been found for this show. Visually stunning with a great story line and martial arts skills.
Truly stunning and breathtaking production!!! The production design was one of the most beautiful and impressive I’ve seen, the choreography and acrobatics are absolutely spectacular, and the amazing performers really deliver with 200% effort and passion. There were some parts that were a little cringeworthy (where performers look they may be hurting themselves), but overall my husband and I really enjoyed the show. There are tons of tourists there, but it was a great time! Highly recommend if you have a free evening in Beijing!!

Set in the Golden Mask Dynasty, a legendary age in China, the story tells how a queen, who wears a golden mask, and creates a splendid dynasty. The play has eight chapters and included more than 200 actors from China and abroad. Produced by Chinese playwrights, directors and designers, the play features Chinese dances, acrobatics, costumes, and lighting and acoustics.
The show is very elaborate with detailed costumes and a sceen with real water running off the stage. Also live birds as head dressing for a part of the show (they actually fly off). Well worth seeing the show.
