If you are coming to Derry, and want to take a tour, take this one. Our guide Gleann was very informative and highly knowledgeable on the history of his City from its founding in 1603 (and before), right up to the modern day. Taking in the City Walls, and Derry Girls locations, we were then guided around Free Derry, the Murals, and the Bogside area, for a comprehensive and very personal tour of the history that lead to the Civil Rights protests, the 'Troubles', and then the Good Friday Agreement. Unfortunately, due to Covid restrictions, we were unable to visit some of Gleanns Museum, pub and music recommendations on this occasion, but hopefully we will be able to on our next visit.

Being a travel agent we booked the service with this company however they did not do everything as promised. We first had an issue with the transfer and then it turned out they did not purchase the entrance tickets as we agreed and more importantly paid for. That was a year ago but we are still waiting for our refund but the company does not seem to care about that all. Horrible and not client oriented at all!

Mr Murat is a professional tour guide, he will demonstrate the history and the knowledge about the scenes in a humorous way. You may not feel tired anymore. Besides, if you are a lucky guy meeting a beautiful day, then you experience would be perfect. This tour is completely different from other bus and group tour (which I had took before), the surprising point is not Giants Causeway, but the scene on the way. If you choose it, you will get what I mean.

Over 2 hours and 15 minutes, with the help of expert guides who are conflict historians, this walking tour of Belfast city center will take you on a journey back in time. You will discover how the conflict known as the Troubles started, see the locations where the most important events of the period occurred, and learn about the path to reconciliation and eventually peace (and the challenges the future may hold). You will discover the realities of growing up and living your life in a conflict zone and how it affected everyone who lived here. The tour is factual and historically accurate to ensure it is unbiased, but the guides also weave their own stories into the tour in order to bring history to life and give you a unique understanding of the recent past. The tour starts each day at 10.30am. Paul and Mark somehow managed to summarize centuries of complex history, politics, culture, music, religion and the impact of all on communities and families into a fascinating hour long presentation that was digestible, accessible and very educational. Paul and Mark were so generous with their time and clearly love sharing their knowledge and experiences, for which I am very grateful. Looking forward to meeting them in person the next time I am fortunate enough to visit the north. Highly recommend.

As a family we travelled to Belfast in Oct 2019 (been meaning to write this review for ages!) and our most recommended activity was to do the famous Black Taxi Tour. We were lucky enough to get Brendan as our driver and had the most incredible experience. He was so knowledgeable, informative and provided amazing insight into the past and present history of Belfast. It was one of the highlights of our trip. Could not recommend this more!!
