It is 142 kilometres (88 mi) from Colombo and near Kandy. Surrounding the town are the Knuckles Mountain Range, the foothills were called Wiltshire by the British. The hike to Knuckles Mountain range was well organised by Mahaweli Tours. We were provided with a good guide who knew his way about well and we felt safe throughout the trek. We were also looked after well and enjoyed the experience. There was fun and entertainment and chatter to keep us motivated to go up the mountains and we got to experience a nice cold waterfall bath too! 5 stars to both Prasad and Ajith for providing us with this experience.

Our experience with Fivemo tours was through a car rental package for a week. Pushpaka, our driver, was extremely professional and helpful. He gave us suggestions on places to go and eat, and also went out of his way to take care of us. He was also great company during the many hours we spent in the car with him. The car itself was also clean, spacious, and comfortable. Would recommend if you are looking for private car rental when visiting Sri Lanka.

Hemos estado mis amigas y yo 8 días con Pradeep por todo Sri Lanka y la verdad que la experiencia ha sido genial! Hemos podido visitar muchísimos sitios que sin él habría sido imposible, y Pradeep siempre estaba dispuesto a ayudarnos y llevarnos donde necesitáramos a la hora que fuera. Sin duda lo comendaría a cualquiera que quiera visitar Sri Lanka de manera más fácil y cómoda. My friends and I were with Pradeep for 8 days around Sri Lanka and the experience was great! We could visit so many places that would have been impossible without him, and he was always willing to help us and take us whenever we wanted. I definitely recommend him to anyone who wants to visit Sri Lanka in a easier and much more comfortable way.

A few years ago we saw mr buddikha at the lake in kandy. He was handing out cards for a taxi.. we called him after having a think and asked him to drive us to ella. He picked us up promptly, drove us through the hills, stopping off at a tea plantation and we arrived at ella several hours later. Mr buddika was a brilliant, safe drive and had lots of knowledge about sri lanka. He made the long, long journey enjoyable. His english was good and his pricr was cheap too. We are thinking of coming back to sri lanka and would not hesitate to get in touch for a taxi!! Vikki and tom

Sajith has been an excellent driver and guide during our 6 days trip to Sri Lanka. He is reliable and professional. During long drives he is a delight to have conversations with. He has good knowledge of local areas and can provide helpful suggestions for restaurants and activities to suit your needs. He helped us arrange a safari tour of the Yala national park as well as a visit to a turtle conservatory. Catching glims of leopards, bears and elephants had been the highlight of the safari. I'll highly recommend contacting Sajith to anyone planning a trip to Sri Lanka :).
