The nicely painted and well-maintained church is simply a delight! The interior is very simply furnished, and so very tastefully maintained. The whole facade is simply so beautiful and good for phototaking too. Statue of the Blessed Virgin is also very pretty, with free flow of holy water.

From one small congregation in a simple wooden building in the 19th century on the present site beside Dataran Merdeka, we have grown into ten diverse and active congregations that form our one cathedral community. This small but rather quaint cathedral lies just off Merdeka Square. Quintessentially English both inside and out. Very photogenic opportunity spot.

This has been my parish church from the time I was married here in 1996. The Holy Rosary Church is beautifully decorated with stained glass windows depicting the 5 Joyful Mysteries of the Rosary seen behind the main altar today. The stained glass windows were saved during the Japanese Occupation of Malaya by Fr Girard. They are among the most precious heritage of the parish. The church, which is of a semi-gothic architecture is a pretty building. In 1951 as the congregation grew two wings were added in the transept of the church. The flat roof was replaced with proper roofing and a tall steeple was installed for the old bell.

Located next to St John's Institution, with its Grecian Spanish architecture, the church was officially opened in 1883. The front portion of the present Community Centre at Bukit Nanas was built in the 1930s. An interesting feature, which stands out most religiously, on close scrutiny of this new altar, is an inscription in mosaic chips which reads: “ECCE AGNUS DEI” (Behold the Lamb of God). The other historical feature of the altar is that the table top is made from the largest single piece of marble ever exported from Italy to this part of the world at the time. The church still holds a very traditional mass in comparison to other Catholic churches

Temple is very big and Deity Lord Venkateswarra Swami is really awesome.. so Devine place to see. Everyone can visit and serve the Lord with family.
