If you have any jnterest in architecture or churches this is another example of wonderful baroque building with an interior so beautiful that you can easy spend time just looking upwards to the vaulted knave and immense columns either side. Really lovely place and not over run with tourism at least at the time we visited.

A stunning interior, this church was designed by the architect Alessi in C18th after the original church on the site was destroyed in the 1693 earthquake. Lots of frescoes and stucco work - particularly liked the musical instrument stucco. You can buy a combined ticket for the town hall.

Well worth the climb. Although derelict the church is still amazing and the location has great views of Scicli

The church and monastery together form a wonderful backdrop to Piazza Italia especially when the sun shines on the golder limestone. Well worth a visit.
