If you are susceptible or emotionally influenced by architecture you need to see a hidden gem of folk architecture near the eastern border of Hungary in the village of Tákos on the Tisza River. A stunningly simple, poetic beauty, the tiny medieval Reformed church called "Barefoot Notre Dam" is sure to catch you. The simplicity of the work of the village masters is wonderful. You just sit in the temple garden under the shade of a walnut tree, or inside with one hand carved in a bench and you are enchanted, you adore, respect the spirit of the former peasant masters.

I was very happy to take part in an exhibition (about a famous Hungarian actor: Ferenc Kállai) in this famous Synagogue in my local town. It's a beautiful old building, which was re-opened in 2015. The building itself is very nice and we could see lots of traditional objects as a permanent exhibition. The Synagogue now serves multiple purposes: it's not only a sacred space for the Jewish community, but a tourist attraction as well: a place for concerts and other cultural events. It's worth to visit it.
