God's Cottage was originally built as the Caretaker's Cottage and the final resident was Peggy Byrne, a well known character in the area. The cottage was converted into a prayer centre (can seat up to 50 people) and gift shop and is run by the God's Cottage Charitable Trust. A Bible Chapel and patrons coffee dock will open in Spring 2020. Visit God's Cottage when in Glendalough, Co Wickow.
I attended a Healing Mass at Gods Cottage, celebrated by Fr Thady. The Cottage is perfectly located in Glendalough, enveloped by the natural beauty of the surrounding landscape.... I was immediately struck with a sense of peace and contentment as I stood outside Gods Cottage in the dark night , listening to the sound of flowing water. Inside Gods Cottage the atmosphere was warm and relaxed. The Healing Mass, celebrated by Fr Thady was a wonderful experience on many levels. I look forward to returning to this Haven of Peace.

The church is very large and sits in a commanding and raised area on the South Side of Bray. The Steeple is very dominating and impressive. Well maintained and in excellent condition. Recommended.

Fantastic stop if travelling through Baltinglass. Ruins are impressive and there is a very informative description board at the entrance giving you some insight and history of the Abbey.

I was here in august and the weather was beautiful . We went into the visitor’s centre first and it’s so tranquil. Saint Kevins church is lovely but it’s closed during Covid. We went in and had coffee and brack. It’s delicious. Everywhere was very well equipped for Covid . Staff were excellent and it’s just a different experience but still great. We walked down to the grotto which I love. It’s very special. What a stunning place but it was so quiet.. sign of the terrible times.
