Was recommended this restaurant by a local friend for yum cha. The place is huge and decorated like a palace. The dim sum menu is quite extensive. Dim sum is entitled to 50% off the usual prices if ordered before 10.30am (we were there on a weekday, not sure if this is also applicable to weekends). Before 11.30am is 30% off. We felt that the food was good, and it was good value for money with the discount. Presentation for some of the dim sum were rather impressive.

Initially the challenge was to understand how the queue system worked. Once seated one moved on to try to figure out how unfamiliar dishes might taste and how to order them, and all this without following the pricing. Anyway, it all worked and most of our food choices worked out alright.

I would give this restaurant a definite miss. What it lacks in quality it makes up for in price. We had Christmas Eve dinner there, 1 glass of Champagne and 1 glass of wine each, 2 appetizers, and 2 mains all for the exorbitant price of around $250. The food was rather bland and flavorless. We have much better food in our local Chinatown for 1/5th the price.

This is the main restaurant at the Four points by Sheraton. Apart from the great breakfast spread that we enjoyed every day, it has a Dinner Buffet too which we tried. This too had a wide selection of oriental and wester to suit all tastes. The grilled salmon was a speciality. They add free wines to the beffet which was a surprise.Food and service is good here.

The food is mainly Cantonese cuisine with elements of Huaiyang cold dishes and the subtle influence of Sichuan and Chiu Chow cuisine. The menu highlights Shang Palaceâs signature delicacies, which include Crispy Pork Flamed with Chinese Rose Wine, and Sli

The best hot pot chain in China, with amazing staff and very high quality food. If you've never had hot pot before, this is the place for you to try it. This location is convenient to the Convention Center metro station, just keep moving up to the fourth floor of the shopping mall. There is one elevator and two groups of escalators to get upstairs. For wheelchair access, there is one elevator to go up to the 2nd or 3rd floor, then go over to another elevator to get up to the 4th floor - as there are a few stairs to navigate from the first elevator if you go up to the fourth level directly. There are many choices of the hot pot soup, and the items that you put in to cook. Ranging from beef and lamb meat to other, more adventurous choices. The dong dofu (cold tofu) is quite a flavorful treat once cooked, along with many vegetable choices. The menu is on a tablet, in Chinese, but the staff will help you order, just take your time to make sure you get it right. Reservations are strongly suggested, their app is helpful for this, but is also in Chinese only, though easier to figure out than many others.
At the heart of the hotel lies a Madrid-inspired market plaza restaurant full of bright light, vibrant colors and wonderful aromas. Here, diners can create and savor their own combinations of the cosmopolitan blend of cultures that the hotel proudly symbo
I enjoyed the lunch buffet at the Mercado and am so glad to have gotten to try so many dishes. The selections were fresh and everything I sampled was really good. There were several vegetables and meats/ seafood from which to choose, plus desserts, salads, breads, and beverages. The dining room overlooks a pond and the decor is very attractive. The luch buffet costs 265 RMB per person. The Mercado is directly across from Exit C at the OCT Metro stop.

We had a lovely lunch here! For starters the atmosphere was decorated beautifully in Chinese motif. The service was very attentive and they offered an iPad with pictures and English descriptions of every dish. Very helpful since we have made many mistakes in ordering in other Chinese restaurants. We had all Dim Sum for lunch and all were excellent! Our favorites were the Vegetable Dumplings, pork buns and the sweet potatoes fried. Absolutely delicious! We would highly recommend this place!

Service was literally the best I have had anywhere in the world. Staff were very attentive. The food was great (I tried about a dozen or so different items) and I really enjoyed the plum juice. Do note that everything here is in Mandarin, fortunately the ordering is done with an ipad that has pictures. The prices were quite good.

Five Sen5es, a contemporary restaurant with a basis in culinary expertise, brings you authentic Cantonese cuisine, from simple and tasty dim sums to luxurious abalone with traditional yet elegantly subtle Chinese elements.
Went there with a friend of mine visiting Shenzhen. The atmosphere was nice but the staff were not attentive. They were even a bit avoiding you to take the order, and we didn't know why. Cantonese cuisine requires the dishes to be hot (by hot I mean very hot ) when served but they turned out to be like they were put in the kitchen for minutes before they were on our table. SPG members enjoyed 15% discount which was a little positive thing in the visit. The bill was okay. By average it was about 170RMB per person. But there are a lot of better choices out there in Shenzhen. If you are visiting Shenzhen and wish to try some Chinese cuisine, try Chun-Man-Yuan (æ¥æ»¡å) which the price is comparable but they were much more serious about the dishes.Dear Mr. MichaelchsThank you for choosing our Five Sen5es Chinese Restaurant and providing us with your valuable feedback.
