Piacenza [pjaˈtʃɛntsa] listen (help·info) (Emilian-Romagnol: Piasëinsa, Latin: Placentia) is a city and comune in the Emilia-Romagna region of northern Italy. It is the capital of the province of Piacenza. Modern forms of the name descend from Latin Placentia. The etymology is long-standing, tracing an origin from the Latin verb placēre, "to please." In French, and occasionally in English, it is called Plaisance. The name means a "pleasant abode", or as James Boswell reported some of the etymologists of his time to have translated it, "comely". This was a name "of good omen."

We were there in couple for a lunch, you can choose between menu, with tablet, or card menu with fixed prices, one main dish, two other choices and fruits at the end. It is a good possibility, you eat super, not too much and at a good priceIf you choose from menu with tablet you have a lot of possibilities

Ferragosto al taiyo 8 di s. Lazzaro. Locale fresco e pulito.Anche tavoli esterni

This little restaurant is great, especially for lunch or early evening light meals. Food is authentically Cantonese, and is freshly prepared. The dishes are excellent, and not expensive. The dumplings (described as Asian ravioli) are ver good.

Had been in Piacenza for a week and was looking for something other than the great Italian food in the area. My wife and I both love Sushi and decided to give this place a shot. When we got there we were greeted by friendly hostess and our server was extremely friendly as well. Everyone there spoke very good English (which made things easier for us). They had a very big selection of sushi and even had an all you can eat for 26 euro/person. This included most of the items on the menu. We ordered several items and were pleased with all we ordered! We were getting ready to ask for our ticket and the manager, or I assume he was, came to our table and recommend we try a few more items and even though we were stuffed we were very happy we did!! Overall we were extremely pleased with this sushi place in Italy and will definitely go back when we are back in town!

The name got our attention, nowhere said all you can eat.... great!we decided to give it a go.....Instead Was All you can eat, just they call it âmenu openâ anyway between the open one and the menu âcartaâ no difference, the dishes were exactly the sameCannot disagree with the ingredients mostly fresh ,but not sure if they been assembled there and than considering the speed in which arrived the food. Suspicious confirmed after waiting over half an our for a salad....the tuna sashimi was also little dry The tablet for order another unnecessary way , might be good for kids......In fact at the end of the order it revealed the total amount and was â¬38,50At the till weâve been asked â¬40 ??????Shocking, We end up paying for ginger and wasabi,on top of the âcopertoâ......ridiculous! The prices for drinks are way to high.... 10⬠for Jasmin Thea for 2 people......The only good point was the kindness of the waitress

We spent a night at a nearby hotel and were rather skeptical about getting a meal without taking the car into the city or perhaps to an area that was less industrialised. The restaurant is a combination of Japanese and Chinese, so the name "Asia" is a good choice. It was rather empty when we went in, but by the time we left both parts were busy and many locals enjoying Asian food. We opted for the Japanese side and the food was excellent. Freshly made sushi and good tempura and miso soup. Service was impeccable and the staff, certainly on the Japanese side, very polite. All in all 50 euros for two people which included a half liter of frizzante wine, large portion of sushi (not the boat) a miso soup, two portions of tempura and a portion of sushi 'fritto' and a coffee.
