Was a cracking little spot this and the food was lovely and fresh and tasty, but its gone down hill fast, with over and under cooked dishes on a recent takeaway - it really wasn't up to spec, really big shame, we've switched to another spot now :(

We went here to get some dinner as we wanted some Chinese. I had the sweet and sour chicken balls and we shared a rice. The sweet and sour was nice, the chicken balls were crispy and fresh chicken rather than some of the chicken used by other Chinese takeaways in Hinckley. The rice was nice too. I would recommend going here as this is one of the best Chinese takeaways in Hinckley

Me and my family love this Chinese, food always hot and tasty. Fast delivery and friendly staff. We order every Thursday without fail as there so good and we never get fed up with there food. Brilliant best ever.

Tonight we needed a takeaway Chinese meal; Precious Stone was recommended by a relative. The menu is quite extensive, although typical for the UK palet. The meal was chosen from across the range including black bean, sweat and sour and shredded meats. The only criticism I would make is that one of the meals was too salty. As a general comment, some of the best Chinese style takeaway food I have eaten for a good few years. You know when something is right when the clientele request their "usual" meal we they walk through the door; the phone was so ringing of the hook with telephone orders.

Hings Cottage is a decent Chinese takeaway. Appears to be a small family run affair - simple but effective. The staple favourites like Chow Meins and Fried rice dishes are done well I.e. Not burnt and not greasy like a lot of places serve them. The prawn cracker's aren't that greasy either and are pretty good. The ingredients looks pretty freshly prepared which is nice and it all comes well presented. There is plenty to choose from one the menu, a few different things that other places don't do. I had a special starter combination last night which comprises of prawn toast, wontons, mini spring rolls etc and was all cooked well - not over cooked, not greasy. Probably all from a oriental supermarket, but cooked well nevertheless. The wontons actually had some filling in them!!! It is cash only which is a bit of a pain in this day and age, but the shop/off license on the corner does cash back when you buy anything, so you may as well grab a drink while you are there.

We have been ordering from Peking Wok for many years now and are never disappointed. The food is always delicious & full of flavour. Definitely by far the best Chinese in Hinckley & we have tried nearly all of the other local takeaways. We won't get our Chinese fix from anywhere else.

I'm from Hinckley and used to eat Chinese food every night (it was a very unhealthy habit but I was addicted I guess!). I've eaten food from every single Chinese/Cantonese takeaway in Hinckley, Burbage, Barwell and Earl Shilton (I'm not proud of this lol but I'm just trying to paint the picture...). I have also lived in Melton Mowbray, Nuneaton and Nottingham. Plus I've had Chinese takeaways whilst on holiday at many British seaside destinations. NOT ONE of the other Chinese takeaways I've eaten from has been as nice as Kam Ying, it's the takeaway I pit all other Chinese takeaways against. Their curry sauce is to die for. Honestly, if you live in Hinckley but haven't eaten from Kam Ying, sort it out!

When to The Green Rooms Saturday 13th January,it's very nice place ,warm welcoming,people working there are very pleasant,we had food which was well presented and very well cooked ,I would certainly recommend it to people looking for a venue,spacious they can even find you a DJ if you want just facing you is a Car Park which is Free after 3pm and free on Sunday's

Back again so something must be right here. Yes the room could do with a bit of updating but the food is as good as ever. The service is excellent and the prices are still reasonable.

Went to this pub on Friday for a takeaway we had a couple of drinks and then took a a Chinese meal home the selection of drinks is fantastic loads of different. Beers and The takeaway was lovely the staff are friendly and helpful you can also take your dog if you want to they are always made most welcome by Steve the owner be going again soonThank you for your lovely response and we are so glad you enjoyed your visit.Please bring your pooch again as we always have treats, water and hugs waitingJules
