My father wanted take-out, and I suggested Formosa. The owners are so delightful and friendly. I hadn't been to Formosa in a while since I don't live close by. But the owners greeted me like family. I read the other reviews. All I know is I am nice to the owners, and they are twice as nice back. My father just moved back to the area after living out of state for many years. It had been awhile since he had Filipino food. He had me surprise him, so I ordered lumpia, steamed dumplings, chicken curry, pork lo mein, and pancit guisado. The lumpia is and always be my favorite Filipino food. These were hot and crispy with the perfect dipping sauce. Extra sauce is only 50 cents more. The entrees come in only one size, and they were huge portions. We shared food with a third person, and there was still enough food for two more meals. The dumplings were delicate and tasty. My father said the pancit guisado was traditional as he hoped and quite good. We ate all the lo mein we could, and I swear it was in a bottomless box. The chicken curry order came with two scoops of rice. The curry had potatoes which is a rare but delightful find. I prefer curry with potatoes. The chicken was not boneless. I did not expect that, and we had no knives with us to cut the meat from the bones. Nevertheless, we thoroughly enjoyed the meal, and I went back this week for more. Can't wait for my father to ask for more Formosa.
Tried the for first time. Had two dishes the Terijaki chicken and teriyaki steak. The rice was good and while the potions were normal I felt like my chicken was undercooked. My daughter who normally devours steak did not hardly touch the meat. May just need to try something else so not sure if we will go back

I asked at the front desk of the hotel for a few places they would recommend for take out. The lady said one of her favorites was Fortune Garden. She was right on the money. I've had Chinese take out in many places and understand this is not a sit down dinner. It is a way to eat a meal on the go, quickly, or when you don't feel like cooking. Ordering was easy and quick. The prices very reasonable, and the food arrived quickly. I ordered the Chinese Fried Wonton, small Shrimp Lo Mein, and the Shrimp with Chinese vegetables. When it arrived and I began to set up to eat the bowls and food were the warmest I have ever received from any Chinese take out. The servings were packed into the lids, and the flavor very, very good for take-out. Having a hot meal after traveling so much over the last two weeks where I could enjoy it and it was prepared and delivered as mine was is to be commended. I thank Fortune Garden for a job well done.

Their selection is pretty good, the only thing memorable about our visit was their chocolate pudding was delicious. The rest was adequate. It's what you would expect from a buffet. Nothing special or fancy and nothing sticks out as a reason to call it a fave.

The menu is typical american-chinese take out that's common in the area. I had broccoli beef, which was too salty. Also ordered the fried dumplings. I had asked before i ordered whether they were fried crispy. I think something got lost in the translation. I expected deep fried but the potstickers were pan fried. I wouldn't go here again, considering there are other mediocre chinese take out places that offer more flavor. The positive point is the price was relatively low but I think prices were in line with similar restaurants.

If I could give it no stars I would. Took two hours for the food to be delivered and after we called three times times to see where the food was after they kept saying it will be there any minute it finally arrived. The food was cold and disgusting. Very very very disappointed.

Went there on a whim. The place was empty, except for the 2 employees. They were quick, efficient, and friendly. The hunan beef was good, but the fried potstickers were AMAZING. It was 10 potstickers for only $5, but they were huge, and came with a nice dipping sauce that reminded me of nuouc cham. I think I ate 5, and was too full to eat the entree. Even my dog loved it! Thumbs up, I'll be coming back for more!!

The Sezchuan Shrimp and Shrimp LoMein was good. The egg rolls are very small, dry, and tasteless.

Just moved to goose Creek and craving Chinese. Everything was great for takeout. We had house special fried rice, chow fun, broccoli beef, eggdrop and wonton soup. Wife tried the shrimp hibachi dinner. All excellent. Entrees we're $9, soup only came as quart for $4, hibachi was $12. Well pleased with food. Definitely not set up to eat in but tables available if needed.

Great orange flavor, crispy chichen, wonderful sauce. We have also enjoyed the General Tso's chicken and Sesame chicken. The Hot and Sour soup is made fresh for your order and is delicious. We make it a point to eat lunch here once a week. Portions are good.
