Royal inn best of Chinese restaurant in ennis . Every day fresh Buffet .
We placed a takeaway order with this restaurant and were assured the delivery would be 30 minutes. After 50 minutes I rang the restaurant and was told they were busy and our food would be leaving shortly. Another 25 minutes later I rang again and was told fresh food would be made and sent out as the delivery driver brought the order back to the restaurant!! I agreed to this but received a call 10 minutes later from the restaurant asking would I call to collect the order after asking for delivery! I asked to speak to the manager but was lucky enough to be put onto the owner who didn't seem to care in the least, no apologie he wasn't bothered this is the worst service I've ever received in anything I'll never eat here again.
On a trip back home, we decided to stop for food in Ennis. Unfortunately, we stopped at the Golden Mill. Besides that the waiting area was extremely hot, the food was a disaster. Extremely fat. The mother threw out the left over but the crows would not eat it.

Have often gotten take aways from here but never left a reviewed and never had a bad one. Got lazy and went back to the local but was so glad last weekend when I decided to go back to the Royal Court. Went for the Thai chicken dish which was a new experience for me & it was so tasty.. it is a dry dish but the salad compliments it, this is my new dish. Got the old staple Spring rolls and they were lovely and hot and fresh with a nice filling, nothing was lacking.Mains were sweet n sour and curry. Both dishes were lovely and again fresh along with the fried rice. The portion sizes are large especially for what you have to pay. Starter, M/C & a mineral only Euro 9.99.Would defo recommend the Royal Court..........
Unlike your usual run of the mill Chinese Restaurants in England, the menu here had starters, main dishes, side dishes and deserts but, unlike in England where there are many many choices, which are usually served in quantities that allows, even encourages, guests to share the food, this was more like a traditional restaurant with limited starters, mains, sides and deserts. We ordered Crispy shredded duck for 4 with pancakes and plum sauce and asked for a couple of extra pancakes - we usually get three per person with a take-away. The food arrived and the duck was already on the plate which meant that the gentlemen of the group missed out on some tasty crispy duck skin. However, the duck was superb and there was quite a large portion. You remember we'd asked for a couple of extra pancakes? We were served with 11. Yes, 11! Who serves up 11 pancakes to a party of 4? We asked the waitress if we could have the missing pancake and she duly went off to the kitchen only to return to tell us that as they come in packets of 6 we couldn't have the extra one. (The waitress incidentally was a lovely local lass so there was no mistaking our accents.) This was our only real criticism. For our main courses I had the Sizzling Three Muskateers which was chicken, pork and beef served on a cast iron platter with onions, mushrooms and peppers. It was fabulous! The other main dishes were a hot beef dish with the meat so tender it melted in the mouth; a beef stir fry with lots of vegetable and finally a fish dish with king prawns and shrimps. A huge amount of rice, which we didn't manage to finish and no side dishes. One of our party decided to finish with a banana fritter which he said was very good although the cream from a can and this was disappointing.Having not had Chinese lager before I can recommend it and worked well with the food (well it should really shouldn't it?)Finally we were asked if coffee was required only to be told, after enquiring, it would be instant and not real coffee. I mean, how hard could it be to buy half a dozen small cafetiere's and some bags of good coffee?Overall we scored this 8/10.

Not a big Chinese fan, Infact I can be quite harsh on them in this country, but by going by the one & only visit to this place I was very surprised how good this place was.. Everything is prepped & cooked in front of you & the food is fantastic, well it was this time round anyway. I had the house special cow mien & was very pleased :) Staff are very friendly & I will certainly be back to try something else. Highly recommend to give this place a go if you haven't
An explosion of authentic Asian flavours! Eat in, take away or delivery.
New addition to the restaurant scene in Ennis Mi Street food is a welcome addition. Take out or dine in there is a great selection of noodle wok and curry dishes on the menu. Recommend the green curry packed with heat.

Had a lovely meal here with generous portions. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Recommend the crispy chilli chicken.. The chicken chow mein and the massaman curry. Yum yum yum. Will be back. Didn't make the early bird so is a bit pricey a la carte... Paid â¬23 for a wine and a main course.

Their spring rolls are pretty nice and they come in a portion of three which is good to fill you up. However, their curry can be pretty watery and tasteless. Their black bean is good though. I wouldn't like or dislike this place. Pretty average Chinese.

fusion of Asian and European food
My partner and I dropped in here recently and despite not having a booking we were given a table within a few minutes. The restaurant was very busy. The staff were very friendly. We had the mixed starters to begin. All delicious. My partner had a seafood hotpot for mains and I had a prawn dish. All delicious. We had a few bears and had no space for dessert.
