Dear sir kindly close down city - calangute and add city candolim because we are change the location this year. kind regards indra owner of the top nosh
We visited this restaurant with friends as it had been recommended. Easy to find on the main road in Candolim ( not Calangute) the menu had a wide range of Indian meals on offer. The food was fine, but we baca each extremely hot as our table was near to the food preparation area. Our main complaint is the that chairs we extremely uncomfortable - metal frames with just bars at the back and no cushions at all. Did not want to stay for an extra drink to chat with friends because of this, so moved on elsewhere with better seating.

Hospitality and service excellent Food was delicious- we enjoyed everything we ate salad, curries, wraps etc The wine was tried but not a favourite, cocktails were good. Visited at least 12 times Bonita and the girls on the beach were friendly, helpful and Bonitaâs manicure and pedicures are excellent, my manicure lasted for over a week when I got home. Final note, the toilets cleanliness was 5 star even on a beachI also enjoyed enjoyed a shower so we could go straight out after the beach! Hope to go again ......... well done team bayview

We were recommended to go to this restaurant but only got round to visit on our last few days. Very impressive menu, friendly service and reasonably priced. On the two occasions we visited we were served quality, authentic food which was delicious. Peter, the owner, took time to chat to customers old and new..a real Gentleman. Would revisit for definite if we are ever in the area again. Highly recommended.

We found the restaurant as we were walking by one evening. It looked busy which is always a good sign. We had already eaten but I booked for the following evening. We had a table on the outside terrace which was nice in the warm evening air. The food and service was very good. The menu of continental food suited my husband as he dosen't eat spicy food. There is also a good selection of Indian food to choose from, We returned the next morning for breakfast which was also good. It is opposite a school so we were able to watch the children arriving by all modes of transport. Whole families on scooters were facinating to watch as we ate our breakfast. Thanks for your review for us , hope we meet again for your next visit.

We visited Bobbys shack numerous times whilst in Candolim. Bobbys came highly recommended to us so we gave it a try and wow!!!! The staff were very friendly and chatty the food was magnificent the chicken wraps are amazing. At night it was lovely sat watching the sun go down with a beer on the beach. We were a family of eight , we had four grandchildren with us our son and his partner. The kids loved to play with Bobbys family so everyone was happy. Itâs such a lovely relaxing shack Bobby is a lovely guy and his staff are lovely too, nothing is too much trouble for them, they even organised our taxis as the taxi rank guy kept trying to rip us off. If thereâs anything to complain about itâs the 9.30pm closing time, but that was because of the election. We had an amazing time and if we go back to Goa Iâll make sure we get a hotel within walking distance of Bobbys shack. We loved it.

Closed for monsoon from June 1, 2018 to october 1, 2018... open during tourist season when the monsoon has stopped
We came to Alex shack after hearing all the wonderful reviews. We can not understand why possibly just loyal customers who have not tried else where . The food was terrible the worst we had in any shack, atmosphere lacking with no welcome although the regulars were being attended to . The shack itself is very plain nothing pretty about it to make you want to go either. Was disappointed after the hype we had heard and a few other couples we met in candolim also said same that they had visited and wouldnât return this year . Was a shame. Joanneg184Thank you for your review. However I'm astounded at how you can so easily criticize anything especially opinions of my valuable customers who have come and enjoyed themselves at my shack. They came with no expectations and loved it. And far as the kheema masala and Naan is concerned... I can understand that maybe it wasn't as per your expectations but what I can't understand is when rocky asked you how your meal was, you said that the portions were big. At that time you could have easily said that you didn't like it. My guess is that if you had told us the truth then, you wouldn't have been able to complain about it in your review. You are perfectly entitled to your opinions and to voice them. However I feel that it's not in good taste to generalise about opinions of others regarding my shack. Whether a customer is new or a regular, we always look after them well. It really is a shame that you visited my shack to judge rather than enjoy. All I aim to do is help my customers enjoy their long awaited holiday to the best of my ability... nothing more than that and nothing less.

Only the very best ingredients find their way into the preparations; which have been perfected by Master Chefs. Bar-Tenders can conjure up quite an array of concoctions when it comes to alcohol. All this, coupled with a âserving with a smileâ attitude, fo
A lovely Restaurant with nice clean Toilets and Premises. Excellent food and Service. Nice tasty food although quite spicy for some tastes so ask for mild if in doubt. Quite a busy place so may need to book in advance. Prices are very reasonable. The atmosphere was friendly and comfortable.

I've eaten here a couple of times with friends and it's always been packed out, with British people mainly. The owner is very flamboyant and friendly and he does make you feel very welcome upon entering the place. It's just a basic roadside restaurant with plastic tables and chairs really but it has become a bit of an icon in Baga amongst regulars. The prawn crackers served as a starter are massive and very tasty but the portions that arrive thereafter are quite modest and the overall price of each dish is quite expensive, I feel, for what you order. However, my friends love this place so I'm happy to join them because the food is always served hot and is fairly tasty too. If you want a change from Indian or European food this place is a good restaurant to come to, mainly because the staff make it run efficiently.

Where to start. Great food, great service with a smile is always a good place. We have a hit list of old favourites and new places to try so rarely do we return to a restaurant multiple times on the same trip but Vinny and the boys keep drawing us back. Vinny is a well-loved host and always manages to get it just right. I guarantee from your first visit you will feel at home. It's quite a talent he has. Vinney's Indian food knowledge is incredible. I say what flavours we want to eat and hey presto it arrives. Our favourite meal of the last trip was a sweet pumpkin curry with garlic grilled prawns. Just wow.. All wrapped up in a garden setting. Worth a vist...
