This is our go to place for Chinese. We usually get combination plates. We order an extra egg roll and it's enough to feed two grown people.

How do I give this more stars?!?! For the 4 of us (we eat a lot), we ordered the pork dumplings, mapo tofu with pork (need to request the pork), gai lan (off their authentic menu), Singapore noodles, garlic stalk beef, and 1/2 BBQ duck with 2 bowls of steamed rice to balance out the salty dishes we ordered. We had half the garlic beef, a spoonful of tofu and half a bowl of rice leftover because it was a lot of food. The mapo tofu brought me to tears--probably (100%) because I'm pregnant--and was the standout dish of the night. Just a hint of spicy kick from the Szechuan peppercorns and the tofu was so soft and saucy. The sauce on the BBQ duck was bonkers and seemed to get better throughout the meal. The gai lan was very lightly dressed and the perfect side of greens to our otherwise heavy meal. The total bill was just over $100 before tip. Will be coming back. The server recommended the Szechuan eggplant and ginger beef for the next visit, but I don't know... we seemed to have found the perfect order already. If you live in HRM, it's worth the detour out to Lower Sackville. Hell, we made the trip out from Kentville and plan on going back regularly. This has absolutely been my favourite Chinese food experience in Nova Scotia. Unreal.

We often frequent the Bedford location but decided to try the new Mill Cove location with a Groupon. Inside, it is really nice. Beautiful chandeliers and a huge TV screen where we watched Star Wars and Million Impossible during our meal. Our server appeared to be new but she was really good. Always kept the waters refilled and checked on the spring rolls when there was an allergy to mushrooms mentioned. We all ordered combo plates. My mother got the combo with chicken chow mein. She did not like it at all. She said it was "soupy" and had too many onions. She left most of that and the rice on her plate. I am not a fan of the fried rice which is beef fried rice. The beef in it are like little pellets. Not appetizing. I had the chicken balls and honey garlic ribs. It was good. The chicken balls actually have white meat in them but the ribs were very tough. My brother got the almond soo guy and sweet and sour pork. He enjoyed it all. I actually liked this location over the Bedford location. My only real complaint is we asked for the veggie egg rolls instead of the mystery meat ones that come with the combo. They said they were sold out. We went for dinner at 4pm. I find this hard to believe. The veggie spring rolls were decent though. I would get them over that egg roll anytime.

We've dined at Wong's Wok several times and like the authentic Sichuan dishes. The Sichuan beef is very tasty. There are the usual more Canadianized options if you want them, but we prefer the authentic delicious dishes - especially those with yummy Sichuan pepper corns. Service is friendly and they care about what you think. Take out too, which we've used a few times.Prices are reasonable.Located in a newish red-roofed strip mall on the Bedford Highway near DeWolf Park and Sobeys. Decor is a little stark but I'm sure that will change over time.

We were looking for a restaurant near Costco and were tired of our usual stops. This little diner is about 4-5 minutes away and what a pleasant surprise. It was our first visit so went with lunch specials.Crunchy Chinese veggies, lightly fried rice and lovely chicken in tangy sweet/sour sauce(not overly battered).Servings are very generous. We decided to take some buns and dumplings home for a snack later. Both were delicious. We'll definitely return and try some of the wonderful looking dishes we coveted as they were delivered to other patrons.

Have gone to this neighbourhood restaurant in the Bedford Place Mall annex at least once a month, either for take-out or eat in, for over ten years! The food is always good and reliable. Take out is always quickly processed. They also have the best Pad Thai in our opinion. The proprietor ,Deng, and her family who run it, are very friendly and on a first name basis with many of their loyal clientele who frequent this Bedford eatery.

ordered 2 combo plates, one with sweet and sour chicken and the other with beef and broccoli, as well as an order of Szechuan chicken. Picked it up about 15 minutes after I place the order. It was OK Chinese food, but there was nothing special about it to make me choose this place over another Chinese restaurant.

Had a Groupon coupon I had purchased $50 value for $28. We ordered 4 dishes rather than Diner for 4, grandson had Hot dog and fries. Pinapple Chicken Balls were full of chicken, fried rice was a little dry, Sechaun beef/vegis was tasty, another new dish was a chicken/ veggie dish that was good. Service was very good and attentative. Menu had lots of options and there was plenty of seating. Parking was easy in the stip mall location.

We heard praise about this restaurant and decided to have lunch just before Christmas evening. The waitress was pleasant and informed about the choices available.I started with a delicious mushroom egg drop soup which was too salty for my taste. My wife and I then had excellent vegetable spring rolls and stir fried vegetables with good portions of rice. My wife had hot water plus lemon to drink and I enjoyed the big tea pot of Chinese tea.We also met a longtime friend at this restaurant who also praised the quality of the food. The toilet was clean and there was ample parking space in this small shopping centre.

Followed the TripAdvisor reviews and I wasn't disappointed. Original Chinese flavors, not massively westernized. I liked it but wasn't blown away. Simply very good but not exceptional.Service was good but why the rush. Let someone finish the starter before bringing the soup. Let someonee finish the soup before serving the main dish.
