The salt and pepper wings, crunchy batter and tasty spicy chicken with fried chili and onions, the deeeelicious crispy hoi sin duck, the spare ribs, and the sweet beef brisket bowl - everything I've had on my three trips here has been superb. Chefs roll their eyes when I come in cause they know I'll be here for ages. Funny cheeky waitresses. Bit dingy and unassuming from the outside but the food is on point!

There are nicer chinese take aways around but it is ok, I find the sweet and sour sauce a bit too sour to be honest, They do offer a delivery service which Bangor really needs more of.
Be prepared for some huge portions of chinnese food. The won tons are delicious and highly reccomended as is their duck fried rice again delicious.Prices are very reasonable and don't be dettered by the outsode which needs a lick of paint this place is high on quality food.

Bright, modern, friendly Chinese restaurant selling Buffet Lunch, Dim Sum in the afternoon and Dinner Buffet. Varied selection of drinks.
I first visited this place two weeks ago an a Saturday night, and from the outside it looked clean and bright and quite inviting, there were also several tables occupied by people of Chinese appearance who were speaking in Chinese(i think), so all this was a good sign.We were quickly shown to a table and explained about helping ourselves, most of the food was ok with the exception of the soup which was salty to the point of bitter and the sweet and sour chicken was so hard inside the batter, it had clearly been left out for a long period to of got this dried up before being added to the sauce. The biggest problem we had was many of the heated cabinets were very low on the popular items, or completely empty, they were doing their best to keep topping things up but very slowly and very little at a time.We found ourselves going up and down, up and down to get something to fill our plates.Overall on this visit the food wasn't too bad but it was just a little drawn out getting it, you felt like you were being given an invisible ration book, the other thing we did notice was the Chinese guests seemed to be ordering stuff direct from the kitchen but we saw no signs of an additional menu, or were offered one.Now back to my most recent visit 8/3/2019.My friend and I decided to give this place a try again, thinking it might be a bit better organised this time, BIG MISTAKE....once again the place was occupied by a Chinese couple who came in after us, good sign....anyway up to the buffet and try the soup again, I had on e of the three prawn crackers and my friend had the other two, then they were gone, the soup was too salty. Then i decided to have some spring rolls, there were four of these so we had two each, then they were gone.....there were two pieces of what are described as battered chicken, probably the same stuff they use in the sweet and sour but without the sauce, I couldnt cut through the batter without it shattering all over the place leaving a brown piece of chicken inside which the local cobbler could of heeled a pair of stiletto's with. Then onto the mains, sweet and sour chicken was ok, the crispy beef was just crispy beef sauce and onions dregs...no sign of any beef. The noodles were a congealed lump, well overcooked and set...more like egg foo yung consistency than noodles.I left most of this on my plate.......after a few minutes I was asked three times if everything was ok, almost as if they were seeking reassurance. It wasn't ok, I would of been happy to accept ok, after all it is a cheap and cheerful buffet. The food in here really needs addressing, as does the system they seem to have in place, whereby if you are of Chinese appearance, you are served fresh stuff directly from the kitchen in small bowls??????

Having sampled a takeaway several months ago I thought it would be a change to go and have a sit down meal, not disappointed. The Oriental soup I had as a starter was so good I had two helpings and the beef in black bean sauce was superb, the meat just melted in your mouth.

Really quite there which effected the atmosphere. But good food and reasonable prices. We had the set menu and they were happy to swap the meals with a small extra charge. Service good and friendly.

What a gem! A genuine Chinese restaurant. It offers a smaller menu of the predictable standard expected Chinese fare, and then a larger Spicy menu offering authentic dishes you never encounter elsewhere including some parts of the animal we don't often encounter. Mainly Szechuan cuisine. You know its good because there are many Chinese eating there,Beware: for those who are fussy, this is food how the Chinese like it, so for instance my chicken was all little parts and on the bone, not neat lean meat as might be expected, but the taste was briliiant; and my husband's picked eggs were almost black with pickling - nothing like those found in a chip shop but very tasty.Friendly efficient service. Small drinks menu. Chinese beers. Wine only by the bottle. Cash only. Possibly a little expensive, but the dishes are large.

Vegetarian. We came to Noodle One for our wedding anniversary and was partially impressed. For starters we had Spicy Crispy Tofu and Salt and Pepper Tofu which was quite a delight. From experience the tofu is very soft but it was slightly tougher which was nice to bite into. For the mains we had Sukiyaki which was not up to the standards I was expecting. It had a lot of soya sauce making the dish very salty overall. The portion was massive and therefore I was unable to finish off.My husband had Katsu Curry which he really enjoyed. The veg and tofu were tasty and the curry sauce was like the chippy curry sauce but the portion sizes were massive and therefore he was unable to polish off his plate. We tried the bubble drinks, mango and aloe Vera which took us back to Singapore. It was an absolute delight and we thoroughly enjoyed it (it was slightly on the sweet end).My only recommendation is to reduce the portion sizes which would reduce the wastage.
