This restaurant is very decent neat and clean place and on main highway in alleyppe with lots of parking facility, here you can enjoy very different types of south Indian food and snacks, this place is very hygienic and has very decent serving staff, their chef MR SARJAN was good to reply to your quarries for the food preparation and suggestions, we liked this place very much a good place makes definite to visit again. We stayed at the Punnamada Resort, so we used the Choola Restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It is in a great location with views out over the grassed area to the Kerala backwaters during the day and fairy lights in the trees at night.The food is generally fresh and it is an a la-carte menu. The serving portions however have been less than generous. Some of the dishes lacked flavour but there are some real gems on the menu, like the karimeen pollichattu. The deserts however are nothing like the descriptions on the menu. That's not to say that they weren't nice just don't expect them to be what you expected. The service here is very efficient and helpful - full kudos to the staff.The prices for the food and drinks are more expensive than other local restaurants but on par with other resorts.

We had food in the courtyard....which was extremely beautiful. We had the fresh lime soda which was just amazing. A must try for everyone.We also had the veg sizzler and veg fired rice which was awesome. Service was a bit slow, but for the food make up for it. Lovely place.

We enjoyed the chicken tikka and other dishes so much we went there twice during our stay in Alleppey. The service was friendly, fast and the food always was served hot. It seemed to be a popular restaurant, as the 7 tables were always taken at dinner.

We have ordered Mutton curry - Poor Prawn fry - good Fried rice - worts Duck Mappas - worst Here you can get an average food followed by very slow services in good ambience. Staff are good and pleasant but I donât recommend this place to anyone for yummy food .
