We wanted to eat something vegetarian today, so we searched the whole city to find this amazing place! The salad and postre is very good and the price is also very good! We were so shocked to hear that they are closed in the evenings, that's a missed opportunity! Very tasty!

Great fish, fresh seafood, locals would never choose any other. The best cheese empanadas!

This is a nice restaurant with good service and excellent food. But, if you pay your bill in cash, count your change. The staff attempted to short-change me by 3000 clp tonight. Their apology was enthusiastic ... but seemed well-rehearsed. I suspect that this is not the first time this has happened -- and it won't be the last. Someone is making a few extra pesos on the side.

Had dinner there. Awful experience. The only positives. The setting is beautiful and the vista of the beach great, that where the positives end.The negatives. Ordered a steak and salad for 2. Waiter offhand - took over an hour for medium rare steaks to arrive. They must be on commission because they try to upsell you all the time while you are waiting. As we threatened to walk out miraculously the food arrived. Steak tough, charred (not medium rare) - matched the service.Vegetable side order miniscule and cold. Waiters rude. Manager the same.Did not tip and left half the food behind. Expensive and disappointing. Go there at your peril there are many other lovely restaurants in this area.

I visited Tio Coco when looking for somewhere I hadn't eaten before on the La Serena beach area. The reviews looked good and I wasn't disappointed. While at first glance you might wonder, as it's set back from the beach among other small restaurants, what it's like. The food was Chilean and very good and the service friendly and quick.

Wonderful restaurant! Owner, Rafa, hosts this comfortable, splendid, welcoming venue. The menu contains many fabulous Chilean seafood items as well as tasty versions of chicken and beef. There are also vegetarian options. It can get crowded so it's advisable to make a reservation or get there early!

The restaurant is nice. Good and fresh sea food. Worth having a meal there. Coquimbo is not that far from La Serena.

Restaurant de especialidad en pescados y mariscos, con larga trayectoria en la region de Coquimbo, además ofrecemos servicio de desayuno, coffee break y eventos especiales
My family had ceviche and fish soup and they ranted and raved about it. I don't eat seafood so I had the beef steak with pebre and a Chilean salad with tomato, onion and cilantro. The portions were generous and significantly less than the tourist row. It doesn't look like much from outside but is nice inside and the food is good Chilean. I recommend the Pisco sour. thanks for your feedback, we are glad you had a nice experience :)
