Colorado is home to no less than twenty-six ski resorts such as those in Vail and Breckenridge; other winter activities include snowboarding, sledding, sleigh rides, snow hiking and snowmobiling. The state is blessed with national parks, grasslands and forests where in warmer weather you can enjoy hiking, mountain biking or rock climbing. Wildlife abounds, from bears to moose and raccoons to wolverines. More interested in local history? Head for either the Ute Indian Museum or the Koshare Indian Museum, and don't miss the forts such as Fort Garland and Bent's Old Fort. For a complete change, why not take a ride in a hot air balloon from South Park Valley or Boulder and admire Colorado's picturesque landscape from above?

Joy Park Adventure! Put on a helmet, climb high above the city skyline right beside the stadium, rope bridges, ring the bell —SO much fun for our party of 3, ages 7, 37, & 64! Inside we chalk-painted, painted ceramics (small fee), played with bubbles, built & launched paper rockets, adults watched on movie screen while child climbed a 3-story structure. Had a reasonable, healthy lunch, ended up staying 5 hours! Such a fun day (Denver ranks 1st in children’s museums I’ve been to- Indianapolis, Evansville, & New Orleans).

Was visiting Ft. Collins for a conference with my adult kids and grandchildren. We spent a lovely snowy afternoon exploring this well curated museum. From the dome theater to the special exhibit about video games, everyone in our group was entertained, challenged and engaged. In fact, we came back later in the week to see more. A must do for any age in Fr. Collins. Great staff as well.

Every time one of my children and grandchildren vist, it is a must. They even ask to be taken there to spend an afternoon. There has been different themes at Christmas with lots of creative activities and areas for imaginary play which many children lack in today's world. staff is friendly and helpful. I as an adult I even enjoy doing activities with my grandchildren!!
