The restaurant was recommended by our Italian friend and didn't disappoint. The burgers were wonderful, it was obvious the quality of meat was exceptional. We had the bacon and cheese, mine was well done as requested and my wife's perfectly medium. Good choice of wines and excellent service. We even got to meet some of the beautiful cows on the way out. Desserts were good too.

Family run restaurant from two generations, Santorotto offers freshely cooked traditional Tuscan food and a selected wine list to compliment the food. Specialising in 'Fiorentina' (big cut steak from the local breed of particularly big cows, called Chiani
The owner cooks himself. The antipasti platter, turkey and beef accompanied by vegetables was the best italien food we ever had. Ask for the vino rosso della casa. The charming waitress is the owners wife. We had a great evening for reasonable prices.

This is (among other things) a great spot to take a lunch break when driving the A1. It's easy to reach, the food is excellent and it's cheap. We had good pastas (inc. vongole, as it was on the weekend) and tagliati.

This restaurant has a new management since 2 years. Already on the phone while booking a table, one could anticipate the kindness of the service. It was fully confirmed during our dinner: excellent service, not too fast, not too slow, very kind and professional. We have been recommended some wines to drink and enjoyed every bit of the evening. Food is genuine, fresh and delicious, with a nice presentation of dishes. Food is traditional Tuscan (meat, mushrooms, pici...).The price is also reasonable and makes this restaurant an extremely good deal (quality-price ratio is excellent). We will be back.

Just returned from a fabulous meal at Osteria La Botte Piena. Lovely location in the small hill top village of Montefollonico with a nice outdoor setting.Good selection of foods and wine on offer with passionate staff. If you are wanting rustic Italian food then this is not for you but If you are looking for something trendy and modern, then this is the place for you.

Stumbled across Piccolo Ristorante in the delightful village of Torrita di Siena. We sat in the outside garden setting with beautiful views over the Tuscan countryside. Our waitress was delightful and laughed with us over our lack of Italian. The mushroom tagliatelle was absolutely delicious, the menu choice extensive and reasonably priced. A really lovely lunch time stop.

Nice lunch in the back garden coverd for rain. Served by what may be father and son, jolly and homly feeling and good traditional tuscan food. Wish we had tried the pasta, coocked and put into! a large pecorino where they carve the cheese to blend in. Very interesting way of doing it and looked really good! Also recommend if you want to practise some Italian.

Because it's good, it's busy, usually with locals, which is always a good sign. Daniel is a friendly English speaking manager, his partner is a wonderful cook. My wife says the Picci with beef Ragu is the best she's ever had and we've been going to Italy for 10 years. The Steaks are wonderfull in fact we've never had a bad meal yet and we've eaten there often. I've never tried one but the Pizzas look fantastic too. The name if the place is Il Botteghino so there may be another page elsewhere. We eat here at least twice a year.

Traditional Tuscan cuisine prepared at a high level. Nice choice of items you don't see at most restaurants in the area, like anchovies, pigeon, rabbit, or even cod stuffed ravioli. Other items accommodate the more mainstream palate, so there is something for everyone. Nicely plated, with excellent service. But prices are high, which also differentiates this place from most others. But honestly don't think it's really worth the extra cost, even though the food was overall nice. Lunch for 3, with no dessert, for Euro 83! That stings a bit, and so that detracts from the overall enjoyment. I've had tastier, more creative food in the region for less. I really want to like it, but there is a fine line being walked here. Take heed.Gentile Francine,"... High Quality Cuisine ... items you do not see in most Restaurants in the area ... Pleasantly plated ... Excellent Service ... Refined Restaurant ... Terrace with fantastic views".And I add;Handmade Bread twice a day always hot, all handmade Pasta also Stuffed Ravioli,Llocal Products, Chianina Beef (one of the most Prestigious Italian meats). We are very very happy with your review that has recognized the value of our passionate work and our restaurant. Thanks so muchDavide Guastini
