Originally (in medieval times) built across several islands, the city still has many lovely bridges and beautiful architecture. Not far from the German border in the country’s southeast, Wroclaw gets lots of German tourists, who call it Breslau. The Rynek (central square), lined by colorful buildings, is one of the city’s most popular destinations.

My partner and I enjoyed our lunch at Dinette. Some reviewers mentioned slow service, but I did not think it was unusually slow. We thought our waitress was good. I had several small dishes. One, the zucchini, was uniquely flavored with mint, and was probably the best zucchini dish I have had. My partner had a pasta dish, which he said was delicious.

We booked Restaurancja Przystan for 6 of us (for a surprise for my parents 60th!) and it did not disappoint. The choice on the menu was great, and multiple options for veggies. We had starters, mains and desserts - the lemon tart was the best I'd ever had! Victoria was our waitress and she was absolutely fantastic, really friendly and extremely attentive, always topping up our wine. The location is beautiful, looking over onto the river and university. Decor inside was lovely. I would highly recommend. Thank you in particular to Victoria who was brilliant.

When you go to an elegant and stylish restaurant, you expect the service to be the same. For example, when I was taking my dessert, a waitress interrupts me without saying anything and I put the cash-machine in my face, I had to leave the dessert half and go to look for the wallet in the jacket to go back to the table and pay. Itâs likely that you will have pierogi at some stage during your visit to Poland. Here they take it to another level. Along with your regular pierogi you can have them baked and fried. They menu clearly shows you all the options and I was tempted by everything! I decided on soup and a selection of five of the meat baked pierogi (you can also get vegetarian and sweet ones). I thought they would be the same size as the regular ones and was about to order potato pancakes but my server advised that it might be too much and to wait until later to order more if I wanted. The vegetable soup was delicious and then I was presented with my baked pasties. They were at least four times the size of the regular pierogi and absolutely stuffed with delicious meat fillings. There is a whole list of dips to go with them. If your not sure, ask for a recommendation. I was full after three. You can order just three. My extra two didnât go to waste as I was given a box to take them home with me. I am disappointed in missing out on the pancakes, but there is always another time.

BERNARD PUB-RESTAURANT is the only place with such a good atmosphere in the heart of Wroclaw' s Town Square. It is a restaurant with a wide variety of beer, offering a great selection of European cuisine, with Czech cuisine taking a special place. Bernard
Visited this pub/restaurant to meet family/ friends and wow - what a lovely place to eat or just sit, have a glass of wine and watch the world go by. This is a super place, it is a little pricey in comparison to other places around there but it is well worth the visit. The food was fabulous with a fairly extensive menu to suit all tastes. We then sat and had a glass of wine and a craft beer made by this bar itself. All we had was just fabulous. The young waiter was superb with an extensive knowledge of all on offer both food and wine and made excellent recommendations. We sat and watched the world go by which was educational. Only drawback to this was a 'strip club' located very close which we saw was putting pressure on passing gentlemen to enter, we were wondering what the attraction was for all the hordes of men entering and were honestly informed by the staff. However, this has nothing to do with this beautiful restaurant/bar and is simply located very close by. We thoroughly enjoyed this place and would highly recommend.

Vega is the first vegetarian and vegan restaurant in Poland. It was open as early as 1987. Since 2013 we are a 100 % vegan venue. We compose our dishes exclusively of plant-based products: fresh vegetables and fruit, legumes, groats, nuts, seeds and herbs
Situated on the main square of the Old town. An excellent eatery for veggies lots of choice and delicious (I can reccommend the Beetroot burgers), being so good it gets quite busy, you have to go to the counter and pick your food and pay, your choice is helped as there is is a numbered pictures menu behind the counter, then find a spot to sit down, I dont think they serve alcohol, but the food prices are very reasonable. I would definetly make it my port of call when in Wroclaw.

"Konspira" is an excellent restaurant with a simple menu, great coffee and true taste. Konspira Restaurant is also a living museum of underground fighting with communism.
Had to wait a few minutes for a table as it is a very popular restaurant. Lots to look at on the walls and a really interesting menu with small articles to read about Polish history and politics. Our food was excellent, especially the sharing board which was a good mixture of traditional cuisine. Ended with delicious vodkas and a look around the secret room! Service was excellent and we really enjoyed our evening here.
