Was there a few times before. "They have" many tea options, but twice happened today they didn't have that option. Ordered Wok with the sauce aside, although they asked to changed when they brought the food (with all the sauce on it) my friend had his food there too. I ate it as it was served. You don't ask such a question to the costumer . I am sorry but quite bad, the situation and the wok thingy!!! The guy taking care of us (small blond) was really nice though! Last time I went there too and the food disappointed me. To the managers: Take a look on what you're serving, better quality than quantity.

I ate here two times and on one occasion it happened to be German Beer Day (April 23)!. My most memorable meal was Jägerschnitzel with Bratkartofflen. The potatoes with Speck and Zwiebeln were perfection. I will return just for that dish. And of course the beers were great. Assigning seating to accommodate the wait staff over the wishes of your guests indicates to me a bit of disrespect. I encourage the restaurant to seat customers where customers wish to be, not where the waiters want them to be. Sometimes people wish to be seated away from noisy children or noisy adults for that matter.Hello and thank you for the things we will think about and set into practice. Have a good time, best wishes, Odin Paul, owner and brewmaster

We called into this restaurant, as it looked cosy from the outside. We were greeted by a lovely lady called Katy, who supplied us with an English menu. There were 3 good vegetarian options for my wife to choose from, and the food that arrived was an excellent lunch in a very generous portion.I had goulash soup followed by sausage with sauerkraut. My food was also an excellent standard.Draught Weissbier was available in 300ml or 500ml glasses. Beer was cold and fresh.Staff were attentive and friendly.Toilets were clean and had deodorant and hand cream available in the washing area.I recommend eating here whilst in Goslar.

Kochen mit Lust und Liebe
During my first visit to Goslar I had a recommendation to go to lunch at Truffel. Brilliant idea as we enjoyed our visit and the food very much. My sister and I both ordered beef liver Berlin style. Fried liver with onions, apple and fried potatoes. It also came with a small salad. This was just one of about 6 dishes that were offered. Each came with a delicious tomato-rutabaga soup from the days specials. Prices quite affordable for the lunch specials. The total incl. a soft drink each came to Euro 25

There is a great view over the lake from the terrasse. The food is good and there is plenty of it. The staff is friendly and helpful. This i a typical restaurant of this area. If you are looking for a traditional German restaurant you will not be disappointed by visiting this place.

The Museumsgaststaette restaurant is found in an attractive old building in the main square of Zellerfeld; the interior is cosy and divided into smoking and non-smoking rooms (there was certainly no sign of anyone smoking in the non-smoking area during any of our four meals!). The restaurant in clearly popular with both locals and tourists, generating a friendly and buzzing atmosphere. Cuisine is described as 'German' and 'Croatian', but the menu is dominated by traditional German choices.Front of house is run solely and charmingly by one waiter who dashes around making sure no table is neglected. Each main meal (prices from around 8 euros) includes a help yourself serving of the impressive salad buffet (German Rohkost variations, selection of beans and dressings), along with complimentary home-made bruschetta. The meals themselves are very generously portioned- the 'Hirtenteller' includes pork cutlet, a couple of Croatian pork concoctions, liver and feta cheese, along with home-made tzaziki and a fiery tomato salsa. For the less hungry, a range of main course salads (8 euros) or fresh fish (from 9 to 15 euros) are available, along with venison and wild boar (11,50-12,50). Each meal comes with an enormous helping of some variety of potatoes; however the waiter was very accommodating when we asked for substitutions. Overall cost of a meal for two is exceptionally reasonable; we paid around 25-30 euros for main meals and drinks (including a delicious 'lieblich' Croatian red wine). The food is not fantastically complicated, but is freshly prepared using good quality ingredients. An excellent choice when eating out in Zellerfeld.

In a small town like Buntenbock, you cannot believe that restaurants can exist. But then again, here's Michael. The owner is a great cook, with tons of experience in bio and slow food! We had a great evening, lovely food and drinks! Dont go to big cities, discover local Harz food!

We have just returned from five days in Hanenklee and found this place by chance first for just coffee then for some Goulash and finally a full meal on Christmas night. On every occasion the service was good and the meals were excellent and well priced. I thoroughly recommend it and would return again.

This restaurant has a gorgeous setting, with a nice interior and a lovely quiet terrace. Imaginative menu, with local trout (but not available that night, in spite of being advertised on the day's special) and venison. But it was all very disappointing : slow service (only one young friendly man, but definitely not in a hurry), and the wild boar medaillons or mini-steaks were dreadfully overcooked. What a pity. To finish on a positive note: very good organic house wine directly sourced from Weingut Hermann und Bianca Schneider from Landau (Pfalz).
