We took the Galzigbahn to the top and were walking down the mountain when we decided to stop here for some beers and food. We ordered some large beers and hirsch sausages, sauerkraut, mustard and bread. We received friendly and attentive service from our waitress. The Senn Hutte is a lovely traditional Austrian hut with wonderful mountain views. It was a great place to chill out and relax. The food and drink was exactly what we needed to get us down the rest of the way to St Anton. We want to come back here again.

Stopped by for lunch after reading some of the reviews on TripAdvisor and we werenât disappoint. We came for the pork knuckle and it was crispy and delicious. We were impressed by the attentive, efficient and friendly male waiter we had today. We were seated in a corner booth in the inner room of the restaurant.

This was one of the best meals we had in St Anton. We were lucky to get a table without a reservation - probably the only one so I would recommend booking. The food is amazing - gourmet Austrian cuisine. Everything is flavorful and beautifully presented. The service is outstanding - professional and friendly. A non-skier could ride up the gondola to meet those skiing.

Coming in late to Klosterle, the staff at Engel kindly served us a very good meal (accompanied by a nice Austrian wine) even if it was almost closing time. A perfect start on our vacation. Recommended!

Despite being a quiet morning, staff chatted to each other rather than serve customers. When I asked for service I was abruptly told to sit down and that a waiter would come. After ten minutes a rude and officious waiter took our order. Drinks were twice price of anywhere else on the mountain and to add insult to injury my kids were told off for eating their own Twix!If you need to stop in that area as we often do, go to the Thaja restaurant immediately above the Hospiz

The ambiente is cool and really worth visiting. The food was average. in fact the spinach and sauce accompanying the beef (Beiried) was overly salty. The Saibling was average, the chicken was good. Lovely place to have lunch. It's not a big place. So preferably you phone in advance to reserve a place. The restaurant interior is convenient traditional Tyrolean wooden furniture that have stood the test of time, it has a small bar and dining tables spread over two smallish rooms. The menu has the usual traditional Austrian choices

At this place you get good traditional Austrian food paired with nice wines, large selection of good priced Austrian wines. Service is very classic, but excellent! Friendly, correct and fast! Good place to dine at in Stuben!!
