Reviews on Central European food in Sopot, Pomerania Province, Poland. The smallest of the Trójmiasto (Tri-Cities), the Baltic Sea spa town of Sopot is smack between Gdansk and Gdynia, just a few miles from each. A retreat for the rich and royal for centuries, Sopot’s exclusive air remained even through the Communist era, and the tony town has undergone a building boom in recent years. Boasting beautiful beaches and ritzy resorts, Sopot is also known for its Wooden Pier (the longest in Europe), the lovely mid-woods Forest Opera and lively Monte Cassino Street.

Visited after some pre trip research. The restaurant is situated on the edge of Sopot but worth hopping a cab. It's not most glamourous location, situated next to a petrol station. Once inside though, it looks very much a traditional eatery. Menu is vast and very much geared towards a meat eater. Both me and my friend opted for the Golanka. It was cooked to perfection, falling apart as soon as the knife and fork came into it's proximity. The service was excellent throughout; polite, prompt and friendly. We were even given a free shot. Whilst this was the most exspensive meal of the trip, it was still excellent value.

Restorant is very close to the center, had some places outside but we had a nice table on the side. Menu is quite a mix but with quite a big choice. I started with marinated cod tartar which was ok but expected more from it and we shared the spring rolls which were decent. For their main i had their speciality grilled shrimps with chili, which is a rather small dish for a main and comes with no sides.Tasty but not big. Closed it with ice cream with vodka. Wine list is ok, we had a good bottle of sauvignom blanc from new zealand. Starters where 5-6 euro, main12 euro, wine around 40 euroGood service

I would definitely not recommend this place. We reserved a table for a birthday celebration and a bottle of champagne should be on the table. When we arrived at the restaurant, the reserved table was busy. The food was decent. When the bill came the waiter had put on a sky-high price for the champagne. We were going to figure out the bill and then put on full music so we just had to pay and escape from the restaurant.

We serve the best selection and quality of Polish aged beef that won Gold Medals at World Steak Challenge 2017 in London. We grill our meat in a charcoal oven. Our steaks are juicy, tender and full of flavour and you can choose them yourself from our stoc
This is a nice restaurant in a quiet part of town. The staff are OK but not overly friendly. The food is very good. The burger was delicious and the sirloin was excellent.

The food was really, REALLY exceptional. We ordered 5 different entres and they were all exquisite. Our only complaints were noisy music and dirty bathroom. Given that these are common problems for many places, I would give this place 4 and a half stars.

1911 is one of the three best restaurants in Sopot. My favorite restaurants in Sopot are: Bulay, Stacja Sopot and 1911. In 1911, virtually every menu item is a culinary masterpiece. I especially like fish dishes and desserts. The wine selection is outstanding although the wine prices are a bit overdone. The disadvantage is the small care in the current menu for dishes for vegetarians.

Inspired by the beautiful history of the record holder - a unique horse named Secretariat, we set up a Sopot Hippodrome restaurant and a neighboring event hall. Every day we feel the desire to be like our patrons - to be victorious only!
Enjoying a sunny afternoon watching riders and horses competing in the 2019 Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup at Sopot Hipodrom, I got hungry, and in a break between the 3rd and 4th competition sections I decided to pop over the Secretariat. Conveniently located at, and overlooking, the equestrian centre, and just behind the show jumping bleachers, I felt I had time for a quick and tasty meal.  I ordered a refreshing glass of Prosseco (of course!), and then waited for my starter while viewing the televised leader-board inside the restaurant. My first course was the bread-crumbed calamari with a yoghurt dipping sauce. It was delicious and settled my appetite while the next course was prepared. I had chosen the roast beef salad as a main, and I was far from disappointed! It was wonderfully unctuous and satisfying. Tender, chilled slices of roast beef sat atop black olives, capers, caramelized sunflower and balsamic sauce, along with a few scrumptious fried goats cheese medallions lightly coated in bread-crumbs. The table service was courteous and the kitchen service was reasonably speedy - necessary on a busy competition weekend - and was able to return to the equestrian ring in time for the final competition round of the day. Thank you very much for your feedback. I am glad that our dishes tasted good to you. We will be pleased to welcome you again. I invite you on behalf of the whole team.

NOVA SOPOT restaurant is located in the central point of Sopot, close to the main station and ul. Bohaterow Monte Cassino - the popular "monciak". NOVA SOPOT arose from the passion of its owners and from the desire to create a new, interesting cuisine bas
We came here on a Wednesday evening while staying in Sopot for a vacation with good friends. From the first second onwards the hosts were amazing. We had a great evening, amazing service and delicious food. The fish and the chicken was delicious. But the spareribs were something else: ABSOLUTELY the best ribs we had in our lives. Words cannot describe the deliciousnes - almost a religious experience. We ordered a second serving of ribs for dessert. :)
