The Wenzel Prager Bierstuben are a unique gastronomy concept that offers its guests the tasty Czech cuisine and the classic Bohemian beers in an authentic, warm and social location. All our restaurants are modeled after the beer houses of Prague and are g
Traveling on a Baltic Cruise our ship docked in Warnemunde, the gateway to Berlin. We did not want to take the 2 to 3 hour train ride into Berlin so we opted to walk the picturesque seaside village of Warnemunde. A local resident suggested we have lunch at Wenzel Prager and to our surprise it very pleasant. They did not serve any German Beer but had a wide selection of Chech brews that I found to be very good. The food was good and plentiful. I recommend the Bratwurst with a side of red cabbage some of the best I have had. My fellow travelers selected the wienerschnitzel and said it was ok but not the best. Lunch for four with refreshments came to around 20 Euro per person.

Not worth 5 stars. Service non existent and utterly clueless. Décor very worn. Feels like it has seen the best of times with stains on the psychodelic carpet. Food- in desperate need of some TLC and Gordon Ramsay- style make over. Went to the Brasserie. Very limited choice. No caviar/ lobster/ oysters/ sea food platters, etc. bearing in mind you are right on the coast. Only traditional German cuisine like Herring with Bratkartoffeln. Desperate for some good food. The Butt- 1 Michelin star restaurant only open in the evenings. This is utter crap for a 5 star place. Semantics. A joke.

We went looking for an informal place to have dinner whilst in Rostock and found Hummerkorb on the Alter Strom. All the seafood we ordered was well cooked and the lobster, straight from the tank superb. Service was good with very helpful staff, happy to grant requests off the standard menu.Whilst we went in the cold gloom of winter, this would be fabulous for summer dining and a bottle of wine watching the world go past.

Looks like a hotel restaurant (and it is one) but you can have a very good bunch there on Sunday. For a small price you get a great choice of food and hot drinks, accompanied by sparkling wine. Nice service and central location are additional assets.

I enjoyed an excellent meal here with some business colleagues. The food is lovely and very fresh. I had a tartare of herring with beetroot as a starter which was really good and fried cod for my main which was also great. Service was very good. Highly recommended.

Our third visit to both the Hohe Duene (stunning hotel in which this restaurant is located) and "Der Butt". The food presentation is even more impressive than two years ago when we were last there. The staff is attentive and professional. What a superb evening we had there.... yet again! A gem that stands out in this part of Germany. We'll certainly be back when we're next in the area!

My colleague took me to Teepott in Warnemunde for dinner one night; they had a wide variety of food items - however like most restaurants, limited vegan/vegetarian options. I had ordered asparagus soup and a cucumber salad - both excellent; a new potato/asparagus side was very bland. The ambience was the best for me - as it was right by the water - and I had a table that allowed me to look out at the promenade.

As a vegetarian I already knew by the name, that there wouldn´t be much choice for me, but I ate a tomatoe soup and a salad, which was big enough. My wife like the fish and our daughter the rice pudding. Staff was nice and prices are reasonable. We were rather late and since many other restaurants were about to close we were glad to get something here.

If you like good regional cuisine and the charm of a 160 year old farmhouse, then you are right with us.
We visited this restaurant not in high season, however, it was really crowded. The decoration of the restaruant is very stylish and fits to the restaurant. The waitress was very nice and friendly. The food - well, we waited something spectacular after the reading the reviews here in TA, however it was ok - not bad, but not excellent. But the fish soup was excellent.
