We had dinner twice there and where treated nicely and had good food against decent prices. It is located somewhat out of the centre and therefore not so busy. That's a shame because the food and atmosphere are ok.Don't forget to enjoy a good German beer here!

This lovely restaurant offers inside and outside sitting. It is part of the Steigenberger Hotel, but attracts outside guests, as it is situated directly on the beach promenade.Food offers something for everyone, incl. for kids, but although the plates are nicely arranged, the food is just ok, no more. With some improvements of the cuisine, this could be a phantastic place. Service is a bit unattentive too.

The food was creative and elegant. The fish was dry and too many marshmallows in several causes. For a Michelin recommended restaurant I was surprised over the level of service. Wine was not served equally to the table, some only having a taste others more than a full glass. Difficult to get eye contact with a waiter.

We were staying just down the road at Villa Glaeser & came for dinner. They have a gorgeous outdoor seating area on the porch. Service was warm & friendly as well as prompt. We ordered from their fish menu (ordered the flounder & cod) - it was super! Had a lovely evening & would definitely recommend.

We went to Alex for dinner a week ago. I can say, without any doubt, that I am now able to give a waiter the badge for worst, rudest waiter I have ever known!!If one checks my reviews, one will see that I have only once before written something negative so I do not like writting this review!!The rudeness this female waiter showed my husband - who by the way, even only because of his age, should be treated with repect - was unacceptable.. I went up to the head waiter/maybe owner and complained but even he didn't have the courtesy to say sorry on her behalf. Well, he may have said sorry to me but when my husband paid the bill he said nothing.I totally resent the idea of going to a place for a happy good dinner only to leave feeling upset and unhappy!!!!

I visited the Brauhaus in Heringsdorf twice and both times I had a good experience. The food was good, the mood typical for a German Brauhaus, their own beer is also very tasty. The service was very good as well,no complaints there. Definitely recommended and good value for money. I'd visit the restaurant again.

Stands out from the crowd. Delightful, informal with excellent wines to accompany a selection of fine charcuterie, interesting cheeses, presented with finesse. Welcoming staff made for a very pleasant evening.

The Location is Fantastic. The sun sets over the lake and there is a garden from the terrace down to it. Many of the sea side hotels and restaurant face north east into the Baltic and do not catch the sunset as well as here. Good, large portions of local cuisine. Fish of course and salads. Good bier vom fass! A main course is sufficient. We turned up without a reservation on Saturday night and were lucky to be given a table reserved for a no-show.
