We have been a hundred times. No kidding. My family are real regular Stammgaste here, since they opened, always super happy. The more shocking and disappointing was our last visit on 28 April 2018. It was Saturday lunch time, beautiful sunny weather and the place was as busy as ever. As always, we came arrived through the garden, entered the terrace and started looking for a table. We were stopped immediately by a very stiff upper lip waitress and frogmarched inside where we were placed in a long line of guests waiting for the next available table. Half of the tables were empty, with a "reserved" sign. As ever, the other half were large tables occupied by just a couple, with plenty of empty chairs. Normally, you approach them, ask politely and if they do not mind, you join them. It is that kind of place. Often you form new acquintances or friendships this way. Not allowed that day. We asked the bar to order drinks to kill time while waiting. Not allowed, had to wait for another waitress. When she arrived, our favourite brew was not available. We could not sit, had to stand, my injured leg gave me hell. When we were finally seated, our favourite dish was not available. We hard the word NO way too many times that day. First time ever that we did not leave a tip. We sincerely wish all guests and staff that this was a mere momentary laps of reason.

lunch today. Waiters not welcoming. No smiles. three times reminded when bill brought to table that service fee not included. Bill also had a highlighted area stating "Service fee not included".We did not order bread however this was delivered with the hot meal. We were charged extra for this. To top it all off, a waiter took a "smoko" break and sat behind us (outside) and we shared his smoke until we left soon after.

This place is outside downtown of Prague, but recommend to go here. Good food and atmosphere with amazing garden in the summer time. Normally also very good service and normal prices for such nice place. Huge choice at the many combinations with daily choice.

If you are looking for a place for a romantic dinner, a family lunch or a business meeting, the atmosphere and cuisine of our restaurant will attract you by its unique feel of a chateau style and its timeless elegance. Traditional Czech and international
This restaurant was like a fairytale for us- beautiful unesco park outside, great (and handsome) service, speaks english, has English menu and the food!!! Oh my gooood!!! Just wonderful!! We have been in the place recommend as number one on trip advisor a day before and went away very disappointed, we found this place today and didn't wanted to go out! Food was the best we have eaten in Tsjekkia, dessert was amazing, coffee to die for, cold beer on their magical terrace was excellent. Don't leave the town before you visited this place!! They have a big parking too!! Prices are much lower than the "pizza place" and the food you get is 100 times better. Cant wait to come back:)

Perhaps one of the best restaurants on the outskirts of Prague, in a quaint little town of Pruhonice. The restaurant is situated just below the Castle.Menu is excellent and we will most certainly return in the future. This Restaurant has been renamed "Pod Zamken" and has been totally refurbished.A definite 5-Star experience ...........

French chef Nicolas Decherchi, who has already obtained two Michelin stars in Paloma Mougins, takes care of gastronomic experience. The restaurant in a design and pleasant intimate ambience with the capacity of 33 seats is dominated by a large stainless s
This place was suggested to us, and it was a good suggestion. The place is new, in the outskirts of Prague, plenty of parking. The staff is very well trained. Restaurant is a design gem, and so is the food. There is a hotel, restaurant and a coffee shop with ice cream. Dear "raduzd2017",Thank you very much for your comment and review. We were delighted to have you with us and appreciate your nice words. Martin KolářManaging Director

EARTHEN BASTIONThe first modern building made from unburned earth in Bohemia. The earth from the public dump which went into liquidation was used for the building. The expenses in respect ot the transport and material therefore came off. Thanks to the modern
An old Czech Restaurant, the walls of the old house are mud brick, hence the name which means that, literally. Set by a lake you can sit in or outside. The service is excellent, the food outstanding so don't expect (or ask for!) chips with everything. A good wine list, many Czech speciality dishes, ideal for a business lunch of you want to impress or an evening to be romantic. If you are going with a party, plan ahead because the house speciality is to BBQ your choice of meats or cook over wood, sheep, beef baron, duck, pig or whatever, bought by the kilo weight and cooked to perfection. Good for parties of 20 or so, or just yourself, it makes no difference....I recommend the steak, medium rare means just that.....

Although it is situated out of the city centre it is absolutely worth going there especially for family with kids. Food and service is perfect. Playing room for kids with babysitting is great. Sports centre is also great,as before having a dessert you can make some small exercise. Very warm and welcoming place.

Visiting my son who lives close by - we always choose to go there. Excellent in most aspects bur the some elements of the service stopped me giving it top marks - the wrong dishes were served up on two occasions and they only had one bottle of the selected wine. All other aspects of the service and the food were terrific as always.

The one on the best places out of centre for sure...coctail bar, fresh fish, perfect steaks, lokal beers, smiling staff, perfect food.
We went to Letem Svetem last week after not being there for over a year or so. As always we were welcomed with a smile, like old friends. The owner is as pleasant as always, enthusiastic and generally concerned about guests. The food was absolutely perfect, especially the mushroom soup, I still remember its flavour - rich but subtle, smooth and packed with flavour - no doubt the best soup (of any kind) I have had so far. My main course - fish - was sublime, perfectly cooked with interesting variety of greens (really high quality veggies!). I definitely recommend this place, because there are very few restaurants where you get such great food along with genuinely friendly and not uptight atmosphere :) thank you again team Letem Svetem, see you soon.
