We enjoyed an excellent dining experience from the moment we walked in the door. The staff were friendly, helpful and extremely professional. We ordered a goose pate for an appetizer and traditional Austrian meat dish for our main and they were incredibly delicious. The wine that was suggested paired perfectly with our meal. I would highly recommend this restaurant and thank you for making our evening special.

I ate here on a couple of nights during my stay. The service was always friendly and reasonably efficient. I ordered the schnitzel and could hear them pounding out the cutlet in the kitchen, so it is nice to know that it was not pre-frozen. I asked for salad with my meal and they brought out a nice plate of kraut, pickles, lettuce, and something else which now escapes me. This item was not on the menu but two different waiters on two different nights knew what I meant. The restaurant had free wifi that worked reasonably well. There is a smoking area and a non-smoking area, separated by glass. There is also outdoor seating with a view of Stift Klosterneuburg. This is a very basic place but it got the job done and I would go back next time I am in Klosterneuburg.

We ordered a Brettljause: the horseradish tasted nothing, as well as the cold roast pork - zero taste. Unfortunately, the extra sausage was not completely fresh, had a strange smell. Pity, that was once a good place. The service was really fast and friendly.Es tut mir sehr leid wenn Sie bei uns einer schlechte Erfahrung gemacht haben passiert uns eigentlich nicht weil wir wirklich auf Frische und Qualität sehr viel Wert legen

Although it was a Saturday night the restaurant was nearly empty which was a surprise. The owner was very friendly and helped us choose typical Austrian food and wine, some of which was very unusual but a great choice.Food was served very quickly and was very hot but there was no pressure to finish and leave so it was possible to enjoy a relaxed meal.Thank you ;-)Liebe GrüÃe Harald Gaunersdorfer

In August 2012,my wife and I spent a couple of nights at Gasthaus Bonka in the Vienna Woods . Despite the fact that the whole kitchen was about to be demolished and brought up to date to a high standard, we were received very warmly. Truly 'gastfreundlich und gemuetlich'!. The food was excellent, generous and very good value, made with fresh ingredients sourced locally. Herr Bonka, his wife Brigitte and the whole family were welcoming and the accommodation comfortable, clean and cosy. Most of the guests come up from Vienna for the day to enjoy the surrounding woodland walks in the Summer and skiing in the Winter. This Gasthaus is highly recommended, so we hope to revisit for a longer stay in the future. Vielen Dank!

This is a great restaurant in a quiet part of the city; we were exploring Heiligenstadt and Grinzinger so it was a perfect place to stop for lunch! The interior is modern Austrian with nice local touches. Service was friendly, helpful and efficient. The two-course fixed price lunch was excellent value. My husband had the beef consomme starter; we both had the lunchtime sized schnitzel (still large!), which came with potato salad topped with some green salad, and I had chestnut tiramisu for dessert. The food was all excellent, with the tiramisu in particular being absolutely delicious! We were really pleased to have stumbled upon this excellent restaurant and would definitely recommend it.

Welcome to the miller ! We have done our passion for good food & beverage profession and lead now in the 3rd generation family business Muller Winery & Vineyards in Grinzing on. Fresh Austrian products are important to us and we pay special attention to t
We were recommended to try a visit to one of the famous Viennese Heurigers. These are vineyards or wineries on the outskirts of the city. After some research I settled on this place and booked a table by email with the owners. After some initial disappointment that they did not serve any beer (why would they as a winery?!) it turned that we had the best fun and meal of our Vienna stay. We tried various wines mainly white but surprisingly the one red on sale was very popular with some of our party (although I did not rate it!). Food was provided by self service buffet but don't let that put you off. It was excellent. Highly recommend but you'll need to get a taxi or uber from the centre although you can take public transport but it takes up to an hour whereas a taxi is only 20-30 minutes. We sat inside but there were lovely outside tables that would have been nice in good weather.

Kleines Restaurant mit Wohlfühlatmosphäre, frisch gekocht auf Haubenniveau und dazu hervorragende Weine! Tolles Preisleistung-Verhältnis.
Nice atmosphere and good service, and more importantly, tasty food (the chocolate mousse is particularly smooth and creamy...). I can't comment on the price as I was part of a large group (business).

Nice choice of traditional Austrian dishes that are prepared with quality and care. Service is competent, friendly, polite and efficient. Nice scenery right next to the Danube river and good parking spots. One downside. There is a smoking dining room as well that causes a slight smelly atmosphere. For smokers convenient though.

We have been to Greece several times, and always loved the food there, yet, this place could easily have the best Greek food we've ever had. Even the Greek salad was outstanding - with all the usual ingredients plus more - two kinds of onions, 3 kinds of peppers, parsley and just amazing flavor. The grilled octopus and fried muscles were both amazing as well. My husband raved over his fried eggplant with tzadziki and baked feta with vegetables. There is a good variety of vegetarian dishes here. Not to be missed.
