I do love eating while watching airplanes. At Terminal 1, Kaefer's is probably the only restaurant-bar (rather than all the fast food, sandwiches, salads you could find). The food is ok (old fashion, nothing special, average salmon, decent pasta), and a glass of wine, sitting by the window can be nice. If you have a longer time to kill at the airport you can go the newer restaurants at the new train terminal by the Hilton hotel, where the food might be better.Thank you very much for seeing us!

The world has got many faces - all of them are represented in the restaurant's menu. From Asia to Canada, from Africa to Scandinavia, the influences, which were picked up in the world's finest kitchens, have come a long way to Frankfurt to become woven in
I had dinner there with my friend and the food was quite good. But what really made our experience was the two waiters: Florian and David. They were so welcoming and accommodating, and had us laughing all along the way. For Germany, this is really rare. Bravo FACES !

Bisto - style restaurant with view on movement aerea of the airport. Great for Breakfast, lunch or dinner - and that "in between snack" while waiting at the airport.
This is one of the nicer restaurants in the airport. The menu has a good selection of German and Western cuisine. The goulash soup is always one of my favorite. The service here is unpredictable as it depends on the waiters on duty. Sometimes, the waiters are friendly, while others are rude. Thank you very much for your kind feedback. PLEASE let us know if you ever have to experience a "rude waiter" at our restaurant. Only with the help of our guests we will be able to avoid having to employ unprofessional people in the team. Thanks for your support!

If you are on the look-out for traditional Frankfurt cosiness, you will find just that in the historical ambience of the Unterschweinstiege restaurant. Here in the forester's house, which is over 230 years old, you can enjoy rustic-regional dishes in a fa
visited for a meal with business colleagues and asparagus season was in full flow. Most places have it on the menu at the moment but this was beautifully cooked white with a very nice citrusy hollandaise and melt in the mouth salmon. There is an option of a la carte or buffet yo choose from and the service was warm and friendly

We missed our flight because of a severe storm in Frankfurt yesterday. Picked up hotel and food vouchers from Lufthansa. Went to the Taverne but it was full. They reserved a table for later. They said they would stay open to accommodate everyone. Thatâs service. The schnitzel was delicious.

Wasnât expecting much since it is located in the Airport area, but was wonderfully surprised with the quality and flavor of all the dishes! Service was quick and attentive- had a sampler of local sausages and they were very good, but the star for me was the large size crème brûlée for dessert. Beer was nice and cold as well!Would highly recommend this for tourists and families alike - reasonable prices and ample portions.I would go here again and again!

While strolling along the river walk on a very hot afternoon, we came across a very nice little plaza filled with people eating outdoors. We decided on this restaurant because we wanted authentic local food, and we hit the jackpot. Everything was delicious, great cold beer and a very efficient and friendly service. Loved it!

My daughter and I were staying at the Frankfurt Ibis Hotel and wanted one last German meal before flying out the next day. The Schutzenhof was recommended so we settled on it and had no problems finding it although it was a car ride from the hotel. A small parking lot adjacent the Wirtshaus has parking for about six cars otherwise you will have to hunt for a spot on the street. We decided to eat in the beautiful treed courtyard as it was a sunny and warm day. The menu was a typical Gasthof type menu with many local favorites and a kids menu as well. Our drink and meal order was quickly taken and our meals arrived shortly thereafter. Both my daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our meals and needless to say the German beer I had was up to standard. If you are in the vicinity of the Frankfurt Airport then the Schutzenhof is not a bad choice for a meal.

This restaurant offers good Italian-style food, and it seems to be well known in the neighbourhood. When we arrived to have supper the place was very busy! Nevertheless, we received fast, good service, and the food was excellent. One of us ordered a mixed salad with chicken breast, and the helping was enormous- enough to share! We also share a pizza, which was very good. Prices are reasonable, and this restaurant can be recommended!
