I've been eating there a couple of times and have been disappointed every time. I am happy to see the extensive vegan menu, which is a plus, however what bothers me is that they forcibly cram tofu and soy products into every single dish- it would work perfectly without it. I've tried the vegan curry and I've never tasted anything so bland in my entire life. It had nothing to do with a Thai curry, Indian Curry, Japanese curry, or any curry for that matter. Another time I had a vegan burger, which was very dry, but had an ok flavor. I ordered some guacamole to be able to eat the burger, but I have no idea what the brought me. Some kind of thin, flavorless green sauce that has nothing to do with guacamole...

The first time we were there, for some years ago, we really liked the place! This time, it was a disappointment. The tortellini, which was my favorit dish before, didn´t taste so good, mainly because the cheese was tasteless. The other problem was that they over-used the microwave... Freshly made tortellini tastes differently from warmed-up dishes. Then we had some problems with the waiters: We were travelling with two children, just about three-years old. I ordered one tortellini, one spaghetti AND two small plates. The idea was that we could share the food between the parents and the children, who do not eat so much.So the waiter came... with one tortellinei, and the spaghetti was divided between the two small plates. Unnecessary confusion, because we made it clear HOW we wanted it.The top of the frustration came when we wanted to pay: We waited for 30 minutes for the bill, and it ended up with me standing by the cash register the last 10 minutes. The two waiters kept pouring up beer and water for other guests, but we just had to wait!By the way, the restaurant was quite empty.None of these problems were actual the first time we went there, so I choose to believe that the staff is the problem. Are we going back again? Not likely.

We had the weal and it was well cooked - one medium and one well done with potatoes and vegetables. Our kids had spaghetti. All in all a nice meal, although a bit expensive. Staff was very friendly in a quiet atmosphere. Most people at the hotel had the buffet dinner in the room next door.

Gnomenkeller is a fantastic restaurant with excellent service and great food They have a very fine menu list and wine and beer to accompany your meal. Steaks are very good and we recommend the Rib Eye. You will find yourself back in history and do take time to read a lilttle about usage of this celler back in history.

We came through Flensburg for a closer look at the city centre and lunch. After a stroll along the historic harbour we came for lunch at the Hansens Brauerei.Professional and efficient service served us drinks straight away and then delivered tasty meals from the busy kitchen.I chose potatoe and Matje (herring). And it tasted absolutely delicious. And the beer was really good too.The children were happy with their classic snitzel.

This restaurant is already in the top-15 in Flensburg and it is easy to see why. The food is REALLY tasty and the service is freiendly and accomodating. Only small negative thing is that the prices on the menu - sometimes - are not the prices that the cash-register writes on your bill - but it is within 50 cents - but still

We had an excellent dinner at Macedonia Restaurant. The complimentary salad, tzatziki and hot sauce with a pear shot was a nice touch and tasted. The tuna starter was good but could have used some more spice. I had cevapcici which was very, very good. The rice that came with it was tasty but I would have preferred potatoes. I almost always prefer potatoes. The service was impeccable and the prising reasonable. My better half had shrimps which was generous and below â¬20. Don't miss this folks.

Having finished trip of Harbour we had couple of hours before our dinner booking so went in search of authentic German cellar. Flensborg seems to have abundance of modern type cafés and vine bars but not many traditional drinking and eating places. This is a hidden gem. Good bear, friendly staff, and at 5 pm, there were at least dozen diners. Food looked so good we regretted having made possibly hasty reservation. Great place to relax whether just for a drink or meal.
