Had an impromptu lunch on day trip to Friedrichshaven.Chose this place as it looked so nice inside and out. We chose to sit inside which still afforded lovely views of the Bodensee over the marina.I ordered the tomato creme soup and my wife the asparagus creme soup. Both were delicious, for me the best tomato creme soup I have ever had. My daughter ordered the spatlzli with burnt onion rigs, we all tried it and all agreed that it was the best spatlese we have ever had - Now that is saying something as my wife is Swiss so we know our spatzli.I followed up the soup with local white asparagus in a hollendaise sauce with steamed potatoes while the others had a garden salad. Again all were first rate. Forget the tourist traps, and try this place as brilliant food with a view and great service.Hope to get back some time soon. Thanks Restaurant Commodore for an excellent lunch.

Having eaten at a number of outstanding restaurants, it is rare that I get truly enthused. But this place has delicious food, knowledgeable and efficient staff, a nice ambiance and seems the best of German dining. And my friends tell me that it has been this way for years...a must visit place every time they are in the area.

We were here for a lunch. We had a traditional flammkuchen which was just ok, not outstanding. The schnitzel was nothing special too. Local bier was the same. Everything is just very average quality. Would not recommend if you are a foodie. I donât understand why you should spend your money on average quality food.

Very good fish dishes (saibling and dorado), nice and friendly service, fair prices. Lovely terrace with few little fountains. Highly recommended!

The well-known restaurant Knoblauch is situated in the 4-star hotel Knoblauch in Friedrichshafen-Jettenhausen.
My favourite place for lunch. They do an excellent set menu lunch for about 10 Euro. This place is 5star in appearance. The menu in the evening is very good and very reasonable for the price you pay. You would be hard pressed to find anywhere in the UK that served food to this standard in perfect surroundings at the prices they charge.Typical German everything just so down to the tiniest detail. They don't rob you for the drinks like uk restaurants. 3 euros for a beer 5 to 6 euro for a 250 mil glass of wine.If you like beer try the crystal Weizen bier with a slice of lemon. Light crisp and dry ideal on a hot summer day. This is also a highly recommended hotel

Had morning coffee and lunch here both were good, staff very friendly and helpful, especially seeing a sudden cloud burst followed by a storm followed during lunch and we had to get indoors quickly. Views from terrace superb over the lake to the mountains on a good day.

Your Italian restaurant at the promenade in Friedrichshafen, Germany. Homemade pasta and traditional pizza cooked in a brick oven ! The restaurant "Bella Vista" is located in the heart of Friedrichshafen, right at the promenade on Lake Constance (Bodensee
Came in with a big group and got seated immediately. Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable, food is made from scratch and super fresh. The pasta was excellent and not too heavy but filling. Service was good and awesome view from the upper floor made the experience a great one! Would recommend to anyone who likes to eat.(The mousse and espresso were really good too and an excellent end to a lovely evening out)

Recommended by hotel staff and only a short walk away I needed to try it. Itâs right by the entrance to the Zeppelin factory.Itâs great. The building is old and inside is classically German. Service was prompt with English menues available. I went simple: French onion soup (German style) followed by a local Swabian âravioli.â Definitely not Italian. Very filling and tasty.Their grilled meats and fish looked good as well, maybe next time.Beer was good and inexpensive. Coffee was great.Dog friendly. You need to have a bill over 30⬠before you can use a credit card. Easy enough to spend that for a party of 2

The food was excellent.. if I had to nitpick, we were unfortunately there the night of a large party. Once the party started, our service waned. Fortunately we were not in a hurry to,leave the beautiful scenery. I had the ceviche, and the bread salad. Had plenty to eat, did not get an entree, although everyone else's looked fabulous!

Here like triftt you look. The heart of our guest house is the curving bar area where you have nice conversations with a delicious aperitif, digestif, beer or wine ... Home at the beautiful Lake Constance. Regional ceiling paintings and the typical round
I visited Lukullum while I was in town for business, based on a customer recommendation. I went there on my first day in Friedrichshafen and kept going there every single day throughout my entire stay. The restaurant is very spacious and has a lot of tables suitable for different amounts of people. I in fact, went there by myself each day as the restaurant was just a 15 minutes away from my hotel, and always had great experience. The restaurant is located right beside the central station, in about 15 minutes walk from the old town. The menu at the restaurant is varied And any person with dietary restrictions can find something to eat. Their salads are great and rich with flavors. The fish is fresh and the steak is highly recommended. On one of the evenings I tried a dessert based on chocolate muss and strawberries And that too was absolutely amazing. I highly recommend everyone to visit this restaurant. I will go back there again on my next visit to Friedrichshafen.Hello MissMayG,thank you very much for visiting us in the Lukullum every day of your stay in Friedrichshafen.
