Our kitchen is open from 11:30 am to 2:15 pm and from 6 pm to 10:15 pm. We serve Italian kitchen with typical Trentino and SouthTyrol (Südtirol) dishes.
The location of this restaurant is very central to Ortesei. Some of the food offerings were very good. The wine list was extensive. And the interior is very quaint. However, the night we were there the service was very poor and inattentive. Some of the dishes were average and with no inspiration. Perhaps it was an off night?Hello Six! truly sorry to read this - please see the other messages and comments, people are always really happy with us. Sorry you were not that happy - please come again, we'll show you how good we can be!!!

The service was OK, the food looked tasty but the problem was salt, too much salt. All the dishes were way too salty. So we won't be coming back again.Otherwise baita has a pleasant location, the tables outside are basking in the sun when the weather is nice.

A very nice mixture of restaurant combioning Austrian/Italian culture, good food quality but poor choices for Vegetarians & Vegans sadly besides that all was good. The service was curtious, food well prepared with very good taste.Though I don't drink Beer/Lager etc the choices are excellent & authentic as my friend had a few drinks there.

Friday after a 10 hour drive we where happy to have dinner at Annaâs Stuben. We were warmly welcomed by the staff. The dinner itself we experienced it as one of our best. The chef surprised us many different times with flavours. Highly recommended to visit. Weâll be certainly returning next year on our next skiholiday.

Pleasant restaurant and café located above Castelrotto amongst old Tyrolean farms, barns and beautiful pastures. Unpretentious and welcoming. Nice outdoor terrace overlooking the whole valley. Tyrolean as well as Italian specialties simply but nicely done, with generous portions, and nice desserts. Tyrolean live music on some evenings.

Rode the chairlift up to this relaxing spot and then walked back to Castelrotto. Drank the local beer Forst and had cheese and bread and apple strudel. The easiest way to hike in the world!

After trying out 5 other huts on the Seiser Alm (AVOID Williamshuette at all cost (literally cost!)) we finally found complete happiness (if not heaven! ):the view from its terrace is simply magnificent, the Kaiserschmarrn' is superb (my 10 y.old son had to have a second one!), service is warmheartedly friendly, prices are justified and reasonable for the quality and size of the dishes (and not inflated like at the Gostner's Schwaige !), next time we will stay in the Dibaita hut: ski-in ski-out !

The opportunity to try an all-chestnut dinner was just too attractive not to try, and the kitchen did not disappoint. There was even chestnut beer available, which was not bad at all. We had the chestnut gnocchi and chestnut mousse, both delicious. Of course these were special courses not available all the time, but the creativity and the resulting tastes seem to be indicative of the quality of the kitchen. Comfortable ambiance, and great views from the town.Hello MarshallThank you for your visit and the nice rating! We will not disappoint you next time!Sunny greetings from Barbian

We had schnitzel and entrecote and our entrees. Both were very good. Ordered a cabbage salad and it was not what we were expecting but still good. It small mounds of shredded and marinated vegetables like cabbage, carrots, corn, beets. Reasonable prices, friendly staff. We couldn't sit outside without a reservation.
