One of the finest restaurants in Budapest . It's a modern and sophisticated restaurant offering two tasting menus that's cutting edge molecular gastronomy at its best with wine pairings from the local Hungarian regions. What makes MEATOLOGY original? When you understand a bit about the science of taste, you may join the awesome group that appreciates the Meatology-method. The choice of materials for a good food experience requires lots of consideration. Before choosing a
Had a pork fillet burger. It was amazing, these guys really know what they're doing. Cooked perfectly, with quick service and a nice selection of their own beers. I'd like it if they opened a London branch, because I feel I have unfinished business, I had about 10 things on the menu that I'd like to have tried. One quick note - their home made chilli sauce is amazing, but do go easy at over 1 million scoville you don't want to splash it around.

Cafe Hauer is the quintessential cafe. It serves wonderful âlightâ food- salads, sandwiches and a few entrees - in a beautiful, old world dining room with excellent, friendly service. The highlight for me was the desserts. They have a very large selection of wonderful, homemade cookies, cakes and other delicacies. This is the perfect place to splurge a little.Dear Bill, many thanks for your review! We are happy to hear that you've had a great time at the Hauer - and we are looking forward to hosting you again soon!

We were on a City break in Budapest and saw this restaurant on Trip Adviser prior to setting off. We booked a table for 2 people before arrival. Absolutely loved every minute. We had the Chef's Table for 2 people, which consisted of 8 courses, we opted for the wine pairing too. The food was amazing, it was a fantastic way to sample Hungarian food with a twist. The service was perfect, the wine was excellent, Hungarian with only one exception a sherry at the end with the chocolate dessert. We have been to several taster menus at various restaurants, but found this one by far to be the most relaxing. We were there for over 3 hours, but the time flew by while we were enjoying all aspects of the experience. I can wholly recommend trying if you ever visit Budapest. Thank you to all staff, in the kitchen and on the tables.Dear Wendy, Thank you for your detailed review of us. And especially thank you for highlighting our locality with the little twist. It is important to us to pretend how proud we are to our regional farmers and collecting almost all of our ingredients from them. And really thank you to take your time to understand all our aspects. Hope to see you soon!

Books and unquenchable affection for gastronomy called up this restaurant, where we can live for both of our passion. We offer a weekly changing books inspired cuisine traditional menu and excellent drinks in addition to taste. Have you ever felt while re
FIRST IMPRESSION: absolute perfection. The idea to theme the food after a book, the interior, the welcome - all flawless! MENU CHOICE: a bit narrow, boiling down to the (innovative) specials. SERVICE: the excellent first impression was spoiled a) by lack of authentic warmth, and b) by the lack of understanding of the wines and the fact that the wines that we ordered by glass were poured to us in the kitchen and we did not get to see the bottle. FOOD: the chef is definitively a creative genius, the food pairing and presentation is fantastic. The duck, we had was a bit overdone, but the vegetables - presented as a tree and mixed with a fantastic apple cream and nuts, were a real explosion of tastes and textures! One of the best side dishes I've tasted in a long, long time. VALUE: not cheap by Budapest standards, but probably worth it. OVERALL: most certainly worth visiting, am not sure if we would go back, however.

Café 57 opened in May 2001 in the Rózsadomb or Rose Hill district of Budapest and was the first minimalist bar in the city. After a successful start, it was the guests themselves and their needs which pointed the way we developed. This is how fashionable
This restaurant is all that it is supposed to be. The service is excellent , ambiance is very nice. Nice inside and a very nice terrace area. Smallish but reasonably priced wine list with superb wines.we had a pohar dementer bikaver 2014 , equal to some our favorite French wines. The smoked salmon and goat cheese appetizer was a subline combination of flavors. Prawns were excellent and the cheesecake was one of the best we have had.Liked it so much we are going back in a couple of days

Intimate, cosy, great service (impeccable actually), great menu, good local wines (REALLY good actually). We tried 2 1-star restaurant when in Budapest, and this one we would DEFINITELY visit again and recommend to everyone we know, if we had to choose between the 2.And I loved the great storytelling from the waiter when they came with the food. Lovely if there could be a bit more stories when the local wine is served - but otherwise perfect!:-) Quality and price is well balanced.Just go!Dear Kamilla G, Thanks a million for your wonderful review of your experience at Stand! Taking a simple dining experience to a higher level, this is what we strive. We are so happy, that you loved our menu, our local wines, the service and also the "stories" in our restaurant. Hope that we could meet again in the restaurant. Warm regards, Szabina Szulló and Tamás Széll, Owners and chefs

Fine dining apartment restaurant of husband and wife in the heart of Budapest. We are Igor and Zaida Zincenco, the founders of the Zincenco apartment restaurant. Gastronomy has always been our passion, our goal is to break with the often rigid atmosphere
Excellent dinner party experience at Zincenco Kitchen in August. Igor is a fantastic host and Zaida a fabulous cook. You can clearly see that both enjoy what they do. Food was an outstanding fusion of Hungarian and Eurasian cuisine and the natural wine pairing gives a comprehensive overview of what advanced wine-makers have achieved in Hungary. I recommend this highly but you must play along! Take your time, be open, chat to the other guests... This shouldnât be mistaken for a typical fine dining restaurant experience, it isnât, and thatâs why itâs so good. So please donât go there with wrong expectations.
