We came here for my parentsâ 50th wedding anniversary, wanting to go somewhere a little different for our last night in Manuel Antonio.Everything was thoroughly enjoyable! The atmosphere is fun, feels more like a hipster bar than a raucous family restaurant. Our server Warner was super friendly and engaging, and, when he found out it was my parentsâ anniversary, he kept bringing us gifts throughout the meal. The first thing you notice after you sit down is the menu. Itâs chock full of descriptions and ingredients you wonât see in other restaurants in the area (heart of palm cheese?). All of our plates were delicious; Iâd especially recommend the chilled cucumber soup, the Caribe Atómico hamburger, and the tacos de atún.Theyâve only been in business for a short time, but Iâm hoping they do well by serving up a different experience for visitors to Manuel Antonio. Weâll certainly be back next time weâre in the area.

Tule Cafe is the restaurant within the Tulemar Resort. We serve a menu spanning Costa Rica to Dr. Mercola and if you hook it we'll cook it! Let us know if you have any special requests and we'll do our best to accommodate you!
I agree with the rave reviews of the cafe. One thing I will add is that we had breakfast and dinner and enjoyed both. The added bonus was the visit from 4 sloths our first evening! The staff spotted the first ones and told everyone about it. You get views, wildlife, good food and excellent staff. If youâre staying outside Tulemar, I recommend trying to come to the cafe as a top pick in the area. Not sure if you can??

La Cocina was our go-to spot for breakfast while we stayed in Quepos town. It is easy to find, friendly, very clean and we always found a table for 4 available. The menu has the typical Costa Rican breakfast options of "pinto" plus they did a great omelette, pancakes and an American style breakfast. Oh, and try the nachos too. Something for everybody. The service was smooth, the staff were warm and friendly and we always left satisfied. Breakfast for 4 was around $24 with coffee and drinks. Gives you a full belly to start the day of adventures.

Z Gastro Bar is an adventure in Costa Rican gastronomy, a culinary exploration of great dishes artfully presented. The food is almost too beautiful to eat, but itâs the taste that will transport you. Located in the splendid Marina Pez Vela in Quepos. Z ju
My husband and I came to Costa Rica for our honeymoon. We visited Z Gastro Bar and Z Poolside Bistro multiple times during our 5 day stay. We cannot say enough great things about Marita (Gastro) and Warner (poolside). They do an outstanding job at making you feel like family. One day we took a fishing trip out of the marina and brought fresh Mahi in. Marita took the Mahi and had a delicious meal prepared for us, without direction! We had delicious ceviche and the Mahi prepared 3 ways. If youâre coming to Costa Rica, this has to be a stop during your stay! We will be back.

After looking at the menu of both Gabriella's and the Runaway Grill (Gabriella's is upstairs and Runaway Grill is downstairs in the same building) we opted for Gabriella's for the better seafood and pasta selections. And we were not disappointed.Advised on the food by our excellent waiter Dixon, who gave us great and attentive service, we had the wow-wow shrimp as appetizer (had the right amount of sweetness and spice). For main we had Salmon and Mahi-Mahi which were very delicious, and our kids enjoyed Gabriella's Balls pasta very much. For dessert we got a great fire show to prepare the Bananas Flambé, and it tasted just as good. The location is also nice as you have a beautiful view over the marina, and the Northwestern coast line. Nice and romantic in fact. The place isn't cheap but we felt it was well worth the money. A great place to have a special dinner. Thanks Dixon!

Louis, the perfect host, had the most uncanny knack of anticipating your requirement. On our arrival, just like magic, welcoming drinks appeared. He remembered what you had ordered before and made great recommendations as to what to eat and drink. The food was varied and of excellent quality. Breakfasts were buffet style with a selection of individually prepared cooked items severed to your table. As a person who drinks hot water first thing in the morning, i was impressed that the hot water urn produced pure water without the taint of coffee or tea that is the norm elsewhere. All in all one of the best paces in the area to stay and to eat.Dear Friend,Thank you very much for your amazing review, we hope to see you back in the future, Our goal is to take very good care of all our customers that at the end became our friends Pura Vida!

Located in the middle of a 90 acres farm, where restaurant is the only building, you can find our Restaurante y Mirador Ronny´s Place, a beautiful "rancho" at farm´s highest mountain peak, allowing for a magnificent view of a 2 bay private beach and horiz
You really cannot beat this location for a sunset meal. The restaurant is located high above the sea with no other buildings nearby to ruin the view and you have a perfect view of the setting sun if it's not cloudy. We started outside for drinks (Pina colada served in a pineapple....) then moved to the covered area for dinner. Food was very nice, including my grilled tuna with potatoes and veggies, but perhaps a little on the pricey side. Lovely staff and worth a visit, though road is steep and bumpy to get there.
