This is a traditional Spanish family run restaurant. Beautiful rustic decor, steaks are fantastic, homemade bread served with cloves of garlic, alioli and homemade chips. Staff very attentive and welcoming, we really enjoyed the ambiance of this busy and thriving restaurant. Full of local people which is always a good sign! We will definitely return on our next holiday.

Visit this Bar/Restaurant Twice, once for drinks and Tapas, Second day for Diner. Got variety off dishes well served. Right temperatures, serving does not take long. English well spoken, feel welcome @ this place. If i would be in Blanes i would come back for sure! Visited with Wife and Kids of 4m and 3yr. Had super family dinner here last night. Great mix of local dishes with some burgers and steaks also. Cheerful engaged staff took time to explain any queries we had. Excellent wine list. Most customers were Spanish/Catalan with a lot of regulars judging by interactions with staff....always a good sign. We booked 48 hours in advance and on the night it was fully booked from 8pm on. Visited on recommendation from our hotel. The service was excellent. The waiter greeted us warmly and offered menus in several languages including Spanish, French, Italian, and English. He spoke to us in English. He smiled and was playful with the children. We asked for his recommendation of seafood and really enjoyed the mixed seafood and grilled fish. Food was well cooked and seasoned and we absolutely enjoyed everything. The prices were excellent value, can't stress that enough. Hopefully the pictures speak for themselves. Can't wait to return one more time during this holiday!

Last summer I passed by Pineda de Mar and was lucky enough to come across Restaurant Diagonal. The seafood paella was amazing and I recommend it to everyone who dines there. On top of the amazing food the staff were fantastic, very hospitable and kind. Definitely a must when visiting Pineda de Mar. Lovely food but we found a bit on the expensive side. Friendly staff and given extra special attention by the owner Mr. Pepe but be warned even though he gives little extras that you think is free he does charge you for some of it so donât be fooled! Also it after the second time visiting and not leaving a tip as we realized only after the first night that their bill included service charge but gave extra, Mr. Pepe was not as friendly. Itâs a shame because it spoilt our experience and nothing felt genuine after that. We were happy to have found other nice places to eat for the rest of our stayDear Hellen,thank you for your review. All our dishes are cooked with local fresh high quality products, which have a value. As for the tip, in Spain it is not compulsory and service is included everywhere. The staff was very friendly, my boyfriend has a strong fish allergy, and the waiter showed him how food is made so he didnât have to worry about it. The wagyu beef burger was amazing, the best meat ever. Paella was lovely as well. Chistorra from tapas menu is served on very nice and fresh bread. I would recommend it to anyone and we will return there for sure!
