Excellent old world charm. Try the fixed menu. It's excellent value for money. Try the gasparxo and salmon. The chocolate moose too is good the service is very good too.
Turning back to the origin of the kitchen, the grilled cuisine, the basic taste, more primitive, where the smell of smoke go hand in hand with all ingredients of the dishes⦠At Brasic we love cooking, so we also offer you a gastronomic experience with dif
We walked past this restaurant and decided to try it because it looked clean and modern and it offered what appeared to be some interesting local dishes. We sat down and I ordered the turbot, and my wife ordered the sole. I thought that it was a little unusual for a restaurant to have two varieties of fish on its menu that are so very similar but I explained it to myself on the basis that the sauces (as described on the menu) appeared to be very different. We were given a small tasting dish which was very nice. Everything was looking good. And then the mains arrived. Honestly, when the server put the dishes down in front of me, I was impressed. A real effort had obviously been made to arrange each dish. But the fish on my plate was a fillet of fish (about 15mm thick) and covered in its skin. It did not look like turbot at all. I didn't complain because the dish looked so good. On my wife's plate was a triangular piece of fish, obviously a cut from around the tail of a fish, again, covered in skin. It looked nothing like sole. It looked like a cut from cod/cabiott or some other scaly fish with that same shape. We commenced eating. My fish was bland, the swirls of dressing on the plate were tasteless and added nothing to the taste. The overriding taste was a strange fishy taste with a lot of salt over the top. There was no butter or lemon or sauce of any type, it wasn't pan-cooked or braised (or at least braised correctly). It was pretty awful. Dry, funny smell. My wife did not eat her fillet. She said it wasn't sole. I looked at it and I agreed. Then I tasted it. It tasted the same as mine, but it was bad, going off. It was old. That was the same taste in my fish, but more strong in the smaller thinner tail section.I recognised it as being old-fish when I tasted her fish. I think that it was cod too. I think that the chef palmed off 2 cuts from one Fish that was going out of date. One of the worse, most dishonest meals I have ever had. I felt sick all afternoon. To be avoided at all costs.Dear Lough222,Thank you very much for taking part of your valuable time to share your recent experience with us.First of all, I would like to extend my apologies for not having met your expectations. At the same time, I would like to review some details following your comments. I do not know if you made any comments directly during your stay regarding the fish however, I would have liked to correct this immediately by adding another dish in its place at no cost to you. We would also like to clarify that in our restaurant Brasic, the protagonist of the kitchen is our wood oven, which forces us to cook some of the fish such as sole and turbot (not cod) along with its skin, to reach its optimum cooking. Possibly the confusion was due to bring a sauce "Pil Pil" that accompanies it, made from the gelatin of cod that is emulsified with garlic and olive oil. We regret that your overall experience with us has not met your expectations and we take note of your comments to improve the level of satisfaction of our customers.Best regards,Brasic Team

Welcome to Can Badó. Centrally located in Figueres, home to Daliâs museum, we offer a relaxed atmosphere in an inviting settin, where you can enjoy our popular specialty:rice dishes. Can Badó is the place to taste the perfect paella or scrumptions rice di
Slightly off the beaten track but well worth a visit. It was very busy and we had not booked but the staff happily found us an elevated table by the bar. So although we were seated highup it gave us a view into the kitchen which I always enjoy! We only had a main due to our time constraints. Two shared a meat and seafood paella which was delicious. Another chanterelles, polpo with ham which was extremely flavoursome. And a steak which again was cooked to perfection. We all enjoyed our lunch here and wished we could have come back to try more of the menu as it's so tasty. We loved the decoration as well. Very contemporary which made what is a quite a narrow room feel wider.

Traditional Mediterranean restaurant. Cuisine village in the middle of the city; We serve dishes as you've always known as you've never tasted. Figueres
Chose this restaurant from T.A reviews.... a very wise decision as probably one of the best meals we have had in Figueres over the years. We enjoyed the excellent set menu, the canelones, guiso de habas and shoulder of lamb were particularly good. Local vi negre from an award winning small bodega went especially well with our food. Staff very friendly, and helpful. Some of the puddings were no longer available, as they had been devoured at lunchtime ... sadly didnât get to âquality controlâ the créma Catalana, which is always a good yardstick. Pleasantly surprised by the bill. Not here long enough this time to be able to go again.

Great food. we had all kind of dishes, fish, patatas, tapas, and a great piece of beef ! Sider is nice too. We had a great night ! reccomendable ! But the place is pretty bussy... they don't do reservations. you just walk in and are put on a waiting list. Waiting time was 15 minutes, and you can wait at the bar with nice tapas. they will count the amount of things you take by the little sticks that are on top of each. So go ahead and serve yourself ! Nice !!!

Before heading off to the Dali Theatre-Museum, we decide to go for a bite to eat at this charming little restaurant near the museum and the Rambla. As it was a beautiful sunny day, we had our meal on the terrace. The owner is French and this is clearly reflected in the menu. Everything sounded delicious and the plates that paraded out from the kitchen were all tempting. We made our selection from the lunch menu and were thrilled about our choices. Everything was fresh and carefully presented and served. It is certainly in my top ten best lunches that I had during this trip and would welcome an opportunity to return for a sampling of more delicious offerings from the menu. If lunch is this good, I would definitely try this place for dinner!

Me and my boyfriend booked a table for his birthday dinner. We waited a long time to get a menu and drinks, but they warned us before we were seated, and we still choose to stay there. We wonât regret it, because the food was absolutely amazing (meat rice was my favorite). Even tho the restaurant was busy and only 2 waiters working, they stayed professional and we got amazing service. Best place in Figueres! Thank you Kadi199, for your kind words about your experience in our restaurant. At Bocam restaurant we take very seriously our customersâ opinions, and we are very happy to know that your experience has been "highly recommended". We hope you can visit us again soon and we can greet you personally. Kindest regards and gratitude of our entire team.

Went here after reading the reviews and was not disappointed at all. Menu is fresh and amazing and very reasonable or the quality. Tempura vegetable starter (beautifully done and not at all oily) and a calamari/potato/salad main and beef with potatoes and a beautiful gravy and 2 glasses wine all for £37. meals were really generous size. Menu is in Spanish but staff made excellent suggestions as we do not speak Spanish. Yum yum yum

We dined in the evening, wanting something more refined than tapas, and we were not disappointed. The waiting staff were friendly and helpful and communicated in French. My wife had carpaccio de Gambas while I had the paté de foie. For the main course we shared a brilliantly cooked and served seafood stew in black rice.We wanted a local wine appropriate to the main course and the recommendation was good and not expensive.

Found this restaurant on Trip Advisor. It isn't somewhere you would just stumble upon but well worth finding. There is parking opposite. We arrived on a Friday just before 1pm and it was fully booked. Fortunately we were offered seats at the bar. The 12⬠set menu of 3 courses including wine & water was exceptional in terms of both food quality and presentation. There were several choices for each course and the only problem was choosing which one! Service was swift polite and efficient. The menu was available in English. We really enjoyed everything we ate. The other food we saw being served looked just as good. The value for money is excellent.
