Features an extensive dinner selection of Caribbean fusion dishes, delectable desserts and refreshing drinks and an incredible view to the exotic mangrove jungle, separated by only a glass wall. The restaurantâs wine cellar offers the finest flavor of win
The restaurant is located inside the Casa Colonial Hotel. The settings, the service and the food puts this restaurant in my opinion in one of the best in the area. We have ordered fois gras, mushroom rissotto, lamb, raviolis and goat dominican style. Everything was great At the end one of our friends got a birthday song and a dessert with a candle.

We visited this restaurant during our recent vacation to Puerto Plata. The place was very nicely decorated, and was right next to the town's plaza & church. The food and the service were AWESOME. Our waitress Yaneri Vargas was GREAT! Must go while in Puerto Plata!!

Green Jack is a wonderful restaurant located at The Blue Jack Resort on the golf course right on beautiful Playa Dorada. The view at sunset is worth the stop , but the real pleasure is Juan. His attention to detail is first class, and the service you get here is a direct reflection of him , and the food was delicious. If you are in Puerto Plata area , you should definitely have dinner there , you wonât be disappointed. If you are looking for a beautiful resort in which to stay , Blue Jack is very nice , we did not stay here , but we did have breakfast there one morning and by far it was the best breakfast we had our whole time in Dominican Republic . Thank you Juan for everything and we hope to come see you again soon, Theresa and John

We were out and about Puerto Plata on a tour and this little restaurant was the designated lunch stop. Definitely a great choice. The chicken was absolutely perfect. A must do at any point in the future for sure.

This stop was included in our tour. It is on the second floor of the Mares Restaurant and they call it The Garden Restaurant. We had chicken with rice and fruit salad for dessert. You could go back as much as you wanted. I wish I had that chicken recipe. Something I had never tasted before. After, we had the opportunity to visit the gardens on the premises and also meet the well-known painter Rafy Vasquez in his house where you can appreciate some of his work.

Celebrated my 66th Birthday with Tomas. Of all the restaurants in Puerto Plata, Le Papillon is where we wanted to be. Tomas served me bonus cut of beef and 2 huge lobsters. All done to perfection. The Ladies meals of chicken curry and steak Beerniese were given excellent comments. My friends, you donât need read many reviews to find out Tomas knows what Heâs doing, and treats people right. If you donât go yourself, it is your loss. You will not be disappointed. Tell Tomas Hungry Man sent you, remember reservations are needed.

We enjoyed our Poutine there, after a long walk from Bluebay villas We just had an issue with bill. We paid in Canadian, and bill was way too high. 5 attempts at a simple bill of 5 poutines and 2 beer. In the end we still gave $4 Canadian too much even after bill. Easiest way to upset customers when you cant do simple math.
