The place is open, the pace is fast, the beer is icy cold and the meats are among the best tasting ever. We had chicken, pork ribs and a Venezuelan cut of beef called "punta e' trasero" which my guess is that it may be a tenderloin. Everything is cooked in an open pit over local wood which provides a smoky taste. All meats were incredibly tasty and flavorful and the beef was tender beyond believe. This is a must visit place to eat if you are in Margarita Island. Definitely a keeper.

In my recent trip to Isla Margarita, me and a couple of friends decided to try this new place. Food was amazing but service was AWFUL....waited almost 40 min for drinks, waitress was the worst ever, rude and unfriendly, let us waiting over 30 min for dessert to then find out they were out of it. Asked for check and waited again over 25 min, finally we got up so we could pay, when I start complaining to owner, he just asked me for my credit card and ID so I could pay. Really? Never again! Food was awesome thou, compliments to the chef, but owner and personnel have no maners.

A fresh and charming very tropical place where your lunch and dinner become a unique experience!
The restaurant is nice and the food - especially the seafood - is great. However, prices are a bit high, which on the other hand is not really unusual for a tourist hotspot like Margarita.

Guillermina offers a rewarding experience to all visitors and guests, with a cuisine that rescues the flavors of the region: delicious snacks, fried sea, rice, pasta and an extensive drinks menu.
Was pleasantly surprised by Carlos Guerra new enterprise. The "camiguana" small fried fish to start were excellent, and my wife's "Arroz con Raya" original rice pot also very good. The setting, the furniture and the menu very original. Will return. The Rums offered are Venezuelas best . A mango "compota" with powdered "casabe" plus candied papaya also excellent.Thank you for your comment. For all Guillermina's team it is a pleasure to receive this kind of messages. We all work to make you feel the best way and we look forward to you and your wife coming Guillermina's home soon.

Innovative dining and entertainment proposal located in Playa El Agua, with a beautiful ocean view. The Beach Club is an experience , a relaxation area being wrapped nice Balinese beds , loungers and hammocks. Without a doubt , an ideal place to relax and

The best fish soup of my island. The name is "hervido de pescado " . The fish is always fresh and amazing quality. Its not fancy but great. The traditional deserts are delicious . I always take natural juices there.

We just left the restaurant and we were robbed outside the restaurant. We were approached by a guy who we assumed was the guard watching the car. No one walked with us from the restaurant and when i tipped the guy, he grabbed my friend's necklace and ran away. We are very disappointed from the restaurant behavior which sent no one with us to assure our safe departure. The car was about 20 yards from the restaurant but no one bothered to walk with us. It was about 11:00 pm at night and we are extremely shaken by the incident. This is not th first time that I hear about robbers targeting this restaurant

We actually stayed in the hotel attached to the restaurant. The restaurant was to a high international standard with excellent quality food cooked in creative ways. The chef seems very aware of different textures needed for a good meal. The menu had lighter options and a fair range of dishes. The wines are excellent - particularly the reds and at very fair prices. One day we took a passion fruit and a mango in and asked the chef to 'do something' with them. He outdid himself with a wonderful fruit creation that he made in just 10 minutes! The atmosphere is relaxed but highly professional. We tried other places on the island but nothing matched.

After so many years I finally visited Margarita Island and tried, twice, this amazing traditional restaurant. The food is simply extraordinary, with great combinations and variations of traditional Venezuelan dishes, such as "asado negro" and "bollo navideño". There are so many nice things to say about this restaurant that is hard to know where to start, from the beautiful historic house where the restaurant is located in Pedro Gonzalez, to the kindness of the entire staff, in particular Chef Esther Gonzalez, who spend a lot of time explaining the dishes in detail and making us feel right at home. This is a truly authentic restaurant that I strongly advice anyone visiting the island to go and enjoy. A must visit. Highly recommended!!!!
