We came to Jost on a Stormy Pirates Charter...most of the others on the "cruise" went to Soggy Dollar...ya know- cause it's famous and all. We went to Gwrtrudes.. I got the Fish Poti. O. M. G......was amazing!!! so glad I made the choice for Gertrudes!!

This was our first stop off the ferry and then our first stop every morning after. The patties are amazing and Joan is so sweet! Was so sad when we had to leave, but got a last one for the road.

This little restaurant was featured years ago on the Food Network for the Lobster Quesadilla featured here. Delicious. The only blended drink is a Bushwacker (this top secret recipe has been a tradition here for years as well. We had not been here since before the devastation of the 2017 Hurricaines and they are still painting some of the newly reconstructed structure, but the ambiance and food remains as good as pre-Irma.We began our progressive meal of the day at this the farthest establishment down the beach from where we landed our dinghy. We'll be back!

Arrived before lunchtime to have a few drinks. The bartender was probably the rudest i have ever encountered. She did not really want to make my drink. I requested a Painkiller but not as sweet. She commented well thats a custom drink. She rolled her eyes and walked away. So i asked so does that mean you can make it? Our group of 5 were the only ones at the bar so you can see how i was taken back by her comment. She continued to be rude to everyone. We tried to complement her and she never acknowledged one comment. She was complaining about not getting a break or food. Sounds like management problem not ours.

Spent an amazing evening as the only dinner guests at Coco Locos after all the day trippers departed. The only thing better than the food and drinks was the amazing views and the friendly service! Everyone was happy with the pizzas, cheeseburger, hot dog and fish tacos and the special Bushwhackers were by far the best in the islands. Loy is the sweetest lady and we enjoyed chatting with her about life, family and rebuilding after Hurricane Irma. Donât head to Great Harbor for the more famous names - enjoy a relaxing time right in White Bay. We will definitely be back!

Taboo re-opened on Jan 1, 2019. We are open daily for lunch and try to stay open to accommodate early dinners. We are working to 'return to normal'. Come see us!!
We had been to Foxys but instead this trip went to Foxys Taboo... beautiful setting... small intimate and nice beach bar.. the food is fantastic and we had the pleasure of meeting Justin and Dean! One of the highlights of our trip!

Drinks were great, fast service, and the portions amazing (glad we weren't driving). Atmosphere was very energetic and the staff were very friendly. Value for money was also excellent.

A Restaurant & Marina located in Little Harbor Jost Van Dyke. Featuring the Biggest and Best Lobsters on Jost Van Dyke. Our Bushwhackers are the best ever or it's FREE !
We met Cynthia many decades ago on our first BVI charter trip. We ate at Sydney's Peace and Love, but wandered next door to Harris's place and had the god fortune to meet Cynthia - without a doubt one of the most gracious and lovely people I have ever met! The next two times in the BVI, we dined at Harris's - enjoying Cynthia's charming company..and the food is amazing! We were uncertain what we would find on this most recent trip, but we were so happy to learn Cynthia had re-opened and made sure we called her from the boat to order a huge lobster dinner! Little Harbor was quiet that night, we were the only ones there, and it was like visiting family, sitting with Cynthia and chatting. This lady has indomitable spirit - despite all she has been through, having her place destroyed, she - and her food, are as wonderful as could be! Besides our HUGE lobster (best on our trip - even better than Anegada!) we got grouper in a fantastic sauce. All this was served with veggies, a baked potato, pea soup, bread..we were even offered key lime pie but were too stuffed to get it!! Folks wandered over from a nearby restaurant and were eyeing our food jealously. I dare say, they - and of course WE, will be back anytime we are in the BVI. Go, eat, meet Cynthia - you will NOT be disappointed. Definite highlight of our trip!!We really LOVE LOVE LOVE you guys. At Harris Place we recognize how important your precious vacation time is and that you could spend it anywhere but you chose us and we go all out to treat all our guests like Royalty and friends for life. Looking forward for your next visit.

So the big thing is Soggy dollar, right...but the drinks and food at Hendo was so much better! Bartender were friendly, the bar area was great for a group chat or meeting other travelers. Dinner was tasty with good portions. I would say skip Soggy dollar (go wave at the webcam) but eat and drink at Hendoes.

The Lime Inn restaurant is located in downtown Cruz Bay and has been a favorite between locals and visitors alike since 1984. Our goal is for you to sit back and relax as you enjoy our delicious cocktails, hand-picked wines, and cold beers while sampling
Surprisingly, this was a canopied outdoor restaurant but, also surprising was how good the food was! The ribs were the hit of the night. We were just sorry that they closed for the season before we could come back for a second meal in August. We'll definitely return on our next St. John visit!
