Things to do in Bonao
The service, food and delivery in this place has gone from below average to horrible. Whenever I was hungry and in a rush this was my go to spot not expecting anything above average but now there very simple and very easy to make 'empanada' which is what they were known for is horrible and unedible. This place and clientele grew way too fast and management did not know how to handle the demand. They recently tried to redo the place but its still horrible service and food. There are way too many spots opening up in Bonao for this quality, yes they are cheap and kinda fast when they don't mess up your order. Good luck understanding how to pay and pick up food
The food is great, plenty and fresh. The staff will do everything to please you and have have you returning. They don't mind going off the menu for you and the ambience is family friendly. Run by family and you can tell they care!Thank you so much for your comment for us is a pleasure to serve you. Hope to see you soon. And we will always do our best so you can have The best expirence Here with us. Hugs.
Travelers beware, this food is not for the faint of heart. However, as far as "Frituras" go, this is the Cadillac of them all.Makes an interesting eating spot and it will give you something to talk about when you start reminiscing about the time you decided to stop in the middle of the Autopista Duarte and have a bunch of fried meats and more.

We decided to try this restaurant after visiting saltos de jima...What a surprise! love at first site..The setting is simple yet stunning... very family oriented environment...Our son had the best day ever.. he still talks about the fish he caught (you can get get a fishing rod and a bit of bait for 50 pesos..) you can keep or have the fish you catch cooked for u...this is an eco project.. food is caught and cooked in front of you...ducks and swans at site.. our son chased them all over the place..It's a must if you have small kids and want to experience something different..parking space available..service is great..bathrooms in good condition

Brindamos momentos con sabor a felicidad siempre condimentados con nuestro ingrediente secreto, AMOR.
Many reviewers rave about Miguelina's clean bathrooms (mouthwash included). But for us it's the alfajor that we will miss most. The texture is simply out of this world while the dulce de leche is perfectly smooth and not overly sweet (perhaps better than Argentina's). Even old-fashioned classics like raisin cookies and palmiers are divine! So make sure you stop there on the way from Santo Domingo to Santiago de los Cabelleros or the north coast.

Desde 1962, 52 Anos de servicio. Una Verdadera Tradicion Dominicana!
This place is a staple on the highway from Santo Domingo to Santiago and never disappoints! Itâs worth planning lunch there for the variety, value and quality of their typical Dominican food. Highly recommended, ask any local about this place and theyâll know right away what youâre talking about :)
