Dine and relax in style right on a beach. Have you ever dreamed about a restaurant in style located right on a beautiful beach with turquoise waters? Well, Kontiki Beach is the one. Beautiful modern style, clean grounds, fantastic staff, wonderful menu and relaxing experience. Located on Orient bay at St. Martin. Brush off your French language skills and chat with the staff that greets you with a handshake. Relax with a beer/drink in your hand watching the waves.

Closed due to construction.
Returned to Orient Bay last week for holidays & was pleasantly surprised to find that Sun Beach Clubber has opened a restaurant for dinner in the Orient Village Square (where Little Italy used to be located). They also just opened a small beach bar on Orient Beach. Yann & Laurent seem to be managing the âNightâ restaurant while Teo is managing the âDayâ beach bar. We ate a couple of times at SBC Night. Not a huge menu - but good food. Zucchini salad - frog legs appetizer - duck salad. All very enjoyable. The new SBC Day is a very small beach bar. They have some chairs & umbrellas to rent - but drinks & food are very limited - nothing like the previous version. Two chairs & umbrella are still $20. They are currently using a cooler with ice to keep drinks cold. Food is limited to a few sandwiches from a local village restaurant. But - service is still great & Teo is a great host. We stopped by almost daily during our two week stay. So happy to see businesses starting to make a come back!

There are several grills at this location seaside. This one is popular. Worth a lunch. Ribs, chicken, seafood. Basic picnic table dining. Reasonably priced option.

All the lolos are jammed together - at 130pm for lunch, they were still full vs the others. That should be your first clue. Our first time here, we chose to eat at Les Coin des Amis which had the oceanfront view - I think you pay for that in slightly more expensive prices for food that is essentially the same. Talk of the Town however has the better food - they use real coconut in their rice & peas, it wasnât dried out, and the chicken wasnât as salty as Les Coin. Service was speedy too.

We had dinner here the Sunday prior to hurricane Irma hitting. The "small" lobster we had was over 2 pounds and fabulous. The Mahi-Mahi was also quite delicious. Pricey, but well worth it with the wonderful view over the bay in Grand Case. However, status is currently unknown as reports of the damage in GC were of almost total destruction on the water's edge, where this tremendous restaurant was located. If it comes back, make the owners smile with a visit and meal. Easily $100-150 per head with drinks, wine, dessert and coffee.

In a magical place in the heart of Orient Bay, you will discover L'Astrolable Restaurant with its thousand facets. Dinner by the pool, or in a tropical garden, everything that you expect will be there : Home, Service, Musical Ambiance, Of course, exceptio
This restaurant never disappoints. The ambiance sitting around the pool is lovely. The food is consistently excellent. The Dover Sole Meuniere is my favorite but everything on the menu is delicious. The staff is knowledgeable, cordial and helpful. I always look forward to dinner at l'astrolabe.

I only visited the beach and had drinks, so this review is basically for that. Drinks are average, however the vibe is amazing young and not-so-young crowd mixed in. If DJ is playing the music is great, service is as expected in this type of establishments (a bit slow)... hookas are offered if you are into it. Water is amazing!Hello MarYelSol,Thank you very much for your nice review. We are happy you enjoyed it and we hope to welcoming you back at Rainbow Cafe!Warm regards,Team Rainbow

The sunset cafe is a pearl of the Caribbean, on the rock, facing Anguilla, the view of the bay of grand case is the most beautiful !, the sunset is wonderful, fresh fish and specialties concocted by a kitchen engaged in the freshness of the dishes, not to
We stayed at the Grand Case Beach Club and had breakfast, lunch and dinner experiences during our stay. The staff was helpful and attentive. Food was reliable and good. There are better options for French food but you shouldnât be disappointed here. As a family of 5 we tried most things. I recommend the specials on the board. The fried shrimp and tuna tataki stood out to me. Burgers were good. Breakfast in general was too. Very casual. Great view of the ocean over a cup of coffee or an evening cocktail.

My wife and I were disappointed to see that the previous mention here of Villa Royale was headed "Destroyed", because we looked forward trying it after reading other reviews and writeups. Well, I'm happy to report that Villa Royale is (finally!) back in business as of October! Seems not to have been rediscovered by American tourists, because on our Sunday night visit, all the other customers were French-speaking. Delightful Creole food, and an excellent value for money. My wife and I shared a tempura shrimp appetizer; the shrimp were perfectly fried, and the batter crust had a bit of a creole spice kick. She had the triggerfish filet, while I had a whole snapper, both perfectly prepared. Each dish came with a choice of side (we both had the creole rice, which was great) and a small salad on the plate. Desserts looked tempting, but we chose not to indulge. The indoor dining room is bright and clean (all new), while the porch provides a more romantic night-time atmosphere (and is quieter for conversation, despite traffic going right by). There were a few service lapses that I'm sure will be fixed as the newer staff gain experience. Other than that, the manager and the owner have things well in hand. All in all, a delightful change of pace from the more upscale restaurants in Grand Case. Do go!Thank you guys for the review. Yes indeed Villa Royale is back and ready to put a smile in your face. We are really please with the outcome since a month and will push as much as possible. There's so many more in store for you so dont hesitate to visit us anytime you're coming back to our lovely island. Thanks again,

We thoroughly enjoyed our last night in Saint Martin at Le Taitu. The fish fritters to start were simply prepared with a wonderful Creole dipping sauce and the owner rounded up the portion since two couples were sharing. Two of us enjoyed the Shrimp Persillade with large shrimp flambeed with anise liqueur in a garlic butter sauce. The shrimp in coconut milk and mahi mahi special were both excellent and everything was served with a lovely seasoned rice pilaf and a few vegetables. Wine selection was nice and well priced. This was a hidden gem really. Thank you for your review;Hope to see you again, on your next trip.*JEAN
