We drove an hour and a half, at kidsâ suggestion, to meet for lunch at the new location. Same look, menu, maybe a bigger site but......service was slow, waited almost a half hour for food. Burger was fine, shared portion for two of us. Atmosphere not to our liking, louder radio in the background. Kids love it, me......not so much.

We were staying in the Willow Bend Motel in Truro and wanted a pizza delivered. The desk suggested this place. I didn't realize it was 2 blocks away or I could have saved the $5 delivery charge. Live and learn. Our order was filled correctly and promised withing 35 minutes. It came in 25 and was nice and hot. Good crust, sauce and toppings. We had a 12 inch and that was plenty for the 2 of us.I believe it was $25 but that included all the taxes and delivery charge. A good pizza worth having.

Fletcher's has been in operation in Truro since 1947. We recently renovated the dining room, diner and restrooms to have a fresh new look for our customers. We offer good home cooked meals and desserts at reasonable prices.
Fletcher's was a great place for breakfast, it was complete with bologna too. Ham and cheese omelette was good too

I've never been to this spot, so I decided to try it as i'm quite the foodie!I was impressed, I ordered the Mexican wrap with the wedgies and the flavour was incredible. The wedges had a wonderful taste not spicy but with actual flavours in them. The wrap was incredible with their own picco de gallo. I had the mild sauce on it and then the picco de gallo, which it was just spicy enough, if you like it really hot and spicy then go with the hot.Service was friendly and smiles everywhere, the owner even came over to the table and introduced himself. This is a place I think may be a regualr pick for me, I highly reccomend!!

The food was great and Jessica was very friendly and attentive to my food allergies. The seafood linguini made special with marinara was delicious and my husband's salmon was just right.Slight delays to get drinks, salad and entrees, but not bad.

The Food Muster was an excellent, creative, and unique dining experience. We drove by earlier in the afternoon and thought it looked very local in its converted house. We got that right - it wasn't difficult to guess...The food was excellent, from the warm spinach salad to the flavourful chicken stuffed with lobster to the perfectly prepared citrus haddock on basmati - it's wrapped around a ball of spinach (?) and goat cheese. The only slight disappointment was the coconut lychee cheesecake; it was, unfortunately for me, the style of cheesecake with a graham crumb bottom and I was hoping for New York style - the lychee flavour wasn't strong enough for me either. They had a few local beers in bottles - the blonde was most excellent. Our server was great, the patio was small but very nice. It's not on a really bust street so you can watch the local colour walk, skateboard, drive, and bike by.If you want something creatively different, off-the-chain, and local, this is a gem in Truro.

A bit pricier than some restaurants in Truro but the food was very good. The steak sandwich was well prepared and very tasty. The burgers were huge and the desserts quite decadent. Good choice for a relaxing dinner. Thanks for coming in! We may be a bit pricier BUT we make most everything fresh to order and don't skimp on portions! We use certified Angus Beef for both the steak sandwich as well as our actual burgers:)Hope you can come back soon!

Bistro 22 welcomes you to the heart of Nova Scotia. Enjoy the warm hospitality of our restaurant, offering upscale-casual dining, fresh local ingredients and an intimate setting - in the downtown Truro shopping district. Open for lunch Tuesday to Saturday
We had a great meal here. The speciality is locally purveyed foods with a limited menu. They two things come together to make for a great meal. We both had fish, prepared somewhat differently and both were fresh and made in an interesting manner. The deserts are not to be missed, my chocolate cream pie was one of the best I've ever had. Great service too considering the small wait staff. Everything priced well and a nice beer selection too.

Murphy's claims to have the best F&C in the Maritimes, and they are probably right! Service is friendly, prompt, and efficient.
